Here's a Romantic Brunch for my hubby and myself in front of the fire. I am using Johnson Brother's Transferware dishes. They are called Friendly Village. The green Fleur de Lis glasses I found at Home Goods and the Christmas glasses are from the Discovery Shop.
The napkins are from Pier 1. I love the two tone look.
The flatware is from Horchow. It was on sale.
I got the green chargers from Target....
Brunch is Baked Glazed Ham, Creme Brulee French Toast, Egg Strata, Roasted red potatoes and Ham and cheese Quiche with fresh fruit.. We are drinking Mimosas.
We have done tons of of entertaining lately. I am about ready for a break.
One more brunch and possibly 2 more dinners.
Merry Christmas Everyone! I wish each and everyone of you a joyous and wonderful New year. I have treasured your lovely comments and the friendships I have made along the way.

A very Merry Christmas to you and Happy New Year.
I write mostly hunorous stuff(note the correct way of spelling ROFL - I am a Brit LOL), so I hope you have a great sense of humour. I also write sad things sometimes so you will need a box of tissues LOL.
(In closing I hope you do not mind me saying so but you are probably one of the nicest looking followers I have).
Cheers and now I am going to find out how I can follow your blog - stand by.
Eddie
Errata sheet:
ReplyDeleteShould be humorous not hunorous LOL

ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteThe tablescape - Rich!
The idea and heart behind the idea - Priceless!
And you're right, as lovely and charming these reunions and holidays are, we need to step back a little and find Sanctuary by the heart and hands that walk beside us.
Once I read a child psichiatrist answering in this sweet way to the question: "Are all babies Jesus?" and he said: "Yes, definetly. And like in Bethlehem there is a time to marvel, to love in the small core and a time for the Shepherds and Wise Man."
Blessed are the hearts, like yours and Dear Husband, that recognise and accept those truths, and live accordingly."
Wishing you and your families a Wonderful and Magical Happy New Year!!!
Teresa
