Here's my inspiration:
When I had my dinner party, I used a tablecloth to protect the table.
See below. The wood is so beautiful, sometimes I hate to cover it. Our table is much more beefy than the Pottery Barn table.
This table is complete with Chef's hats.
These pictures below are the actual dinner party. I used a tablecloth
Since the salad plates have green and lavender, I went with green napkins and lavender wine glasses.
Ok Bloggers, I have shared my copycat design....I look forward to seeing what everyone else is doing. Have a wonderful day.

ReplyDeleteOh, poo! I always miss the Copycat Challenge! My mind gets caught up in another world somewhere. YOU, on the other hand, did a really terrific job of capturing the spirit of the PB table!!!!! The addition of the ceramic chefs makes it more playful and fun than the original version! I am just bowled over by those great toques! What a super fun idea for place cards/favors!!! Great job!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, love the chefs. I also have a fondness for lavender and green. Like yours better than PB! Your table is beautiful. xo

ReplyDeleteFabuous copy cat lovely Linda! Yes, I too like your dinner table more, as do mine when I see some in magazines, from my Italian dinner set. I love your tablescape more I think too, lol..Thank you for dropping by to comment on my new acquired red transferware dishes. I bought them, didn't receive them from mother, she gave me French Limonges already..bought in the antique shop, they came straight from Europe for me, as it was an order. Now I need to wait for the dinner plates and soup bowls for 12, as is the tea set. I have German onion in blue and white and others, so I really wanted the red for using around the holidays too.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
FABBY
