I bought these dishes years ago from my younger brother. My Grandmother also had a set.
They are named perfectly for Love.
I also love these wire cloches I found at Ross.
They are so cute, especially with the little bird on top.
It's fun to dress up a buffet area. Instead of stacking your plates, why create a beautiful vignette for your guests.
Adding pearls to the vignette has a touch of elegance.
Of course, it wouldn't be Valentine's without a heart.
Thank you for your visits. Enjoy your Valentine's with loved ones.

You've just reminded me I wanted to try making a cloche from a wire waste basket. If I can find some birds, I can copy cat your pretty ones.
ReplyDeleteLinda, I love it all! Enjoy the day with your Valentine ;o)
ReplyDeleteI just noticed on your side bar that you have the Jura Impressa coffee station. Do you still love it?
Hi Linda, beautiful, I love the way you put all the plates inside the wire cloches, such a brilliant idea
ReplyDeletehave a beautiful Valentine days and week
You had me at "Cotillion" ;)... the whimsy and elegance the term invokes could only be surpassed by a cloche. And wired ones. I've been babying the idea of doing a couple - with chicken wire - for Easter.
ReplyDeleteSo far I had only met the idea at Pinterest; now, Thanks to your Magic, I can dream with the finishing detail - a lovely, rusty preferrably, bird.
Thank you for sharing!
Love,
Teresa
P.S. Going to pin this later... on Buffets: not a very big board but your suggestion is too good to pass ahahahah
