Paderno Spiralizer, My New Kitchen Gadget

I think we all love useful kitchen gadgets.  I was searching the web recently and came across the Paderno Spiralizer.  I saw it on William Sonoma.
I also found it on Amazon for $35.96.   If you have Prime, you can have it in two days with free shipping. I added a short-cut to Amazon on my sidebar.
This fun machine is so simple to use....no batteries or power, just hand crank.
It has suction cups to keep it in place, while you crank some beautiful shapes.
It features three different blades to produce ribbons, curly shapes, spagetti and rings- 1/8-inch spacing, 1/4-inch spacing, and straight blade for ribbon cuts.

Lovely  vegetable ribbons in minutes.
It is made of durable plastic and it pops in the dishwasher.  Easy clean-up.  It stores the  extra blades in a compartment on the machine.  Quick and easy to use.
Fresh zucchini and squash, using the spagetti like blade.

This is what is left of the zucchini after hand cranking.  It actually looks like a mushroom.

Use it on cucumbers, carrots, zucchini, squash, apples, potatoes and more.
I love this machine!

Look at all the veggies and fruit, you can use and have some fun with.  Create lovely vegetable noodle dishes  and beautiful salads, just be hand cranking.  Great for slaws too.

Here's a video of it in action.

I used this machine last night to create a simple veggie stir fry.  My husband hates zucchini, however when I used this machine to create spagetti like  noodles., he absolutely loved it and went back for seconds. You can see, I used zucchini and yellow squash.  It makes great curly fries....sweet potato or regular.
I added olive oil, garlic, left-over green beans,  red pepper, onions and tomatoes.  I topped it off with  some Polenta, tomatoes and Parmesan cheese...Yummy... Be creative, use leftovers and enjoy.

My lovely friend Robyn has a food blog, called Simply Fresh Dinners.  I was telling her about this awesome gadget, because she loves to cook and create healthy meals.  Stop by her blog and check out her wonderful and healthy dishes. She is an amazing woman and a great friend.
Update:  Robyn  ordered one and loves it.  In fact, her sister-in-law was visiting and Robyn showed it to her and she asked if she could borrow it.  To this day, she hasn't returned it, so Robyn said she is ordering another one for herself.
I also bought my Mom one for Mother's day.

It was a great hit.  Great gadget for under $40.00
Kitty from Kitty's Kozy Kitchen told me there is a website devoted to the spiralizer.
Here it is"  How to Spiralize.  Go ahead and get creative!

  5. Oh, gosh, Linda, you are too sweet - thanks so much for the shoutout! I ordered mine on Monday so it should get here today. I can hardly wait because I want to do salads this week for the blog. Great pics and that dinner looks scrumptious! How funny that your hubby liked zucchini once it was in noodle form! I think a lot of folks could find new ways to get veggies into their kids this way, too.
Have a wonderful day, sweet friend. So kind of you. Hugs!
