Not sure why Jacqueline from Purple Chocolat Home and I have been on the same wave length lately. Before she posted her chocolate spoons, I had already purchased the spoon molds and was planning on making a post out of them. She posted her, so I decided to not post mine.
She recently posted an aqua and gold tablescape and I had already planned mine.
Well, mine has peacocks, so I thought I would post mine....
I kept my white tablelecloth and faux fur runner and just added my aqua elements. I added these beautiful aqua feather trees from Zgallerie. They were on clearance, so I snapped them up.
I had the ornaments when I posted the turquoise and red tablescape. Adding them with the white snowflakes makes for a pretty scene.
I added my little peacocks to each place setting. The large peacock is perched in it's own bowl, among gold and aqua balls. I found this pretty peacock at Beverly Fabrics on sale.
I had the existing aqua candle holders, so I just added gold candles.
Our gold goblets from Zgallerie tie in with the aqua and gold theme. Gold flatware from Horchow is also used. Notice the blue hour outside?
I found the peacock plates at Home Goods.
I hope you are all ready for Christmas. We are planning a very quiet one at home.
I have a dinner party planned for Saturday night.
In case, you have missed the last few tablescapes, here they are:
Frosty The Snowman
Winter Wonderland

Go ahead an post your chocolate spoons!!! I know there must be plenty of people who subscribe to your blog who would love to see them, me included!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you decided to post this tablescape because it is absolutely opulent! You did an outstanding job! You were super smart and savvy to snap those feather trees up at Z Gallerie before they got away. That place can sell out of stuff on clearance in a New York minute!!!
I have those same peacock plates. My Mom bought them for me earlier this year, and I just love them. They look so elegant. You upped the ante with all the beautiful decorative accoutrements on the table and in the room, especially your chandelier. It's just literally dripping in bling!!!
Merry, Merry Christmas to you guys! Enjoy your relaxed and peaceful Christmas, and have a joyous & safe New Year!!!
Linda, Your Peacock tablescape is Stunning. You can tell that a lot of thought and work went into the design. Absolutely beautiful! I would like to try and do this theme someday. Would love to see your version of the chocolate spoons as well. Valerie

I told you, we are these kindred spirits! Isn't that funny? I love that Monique said she thought we could be sisters - twins even! I have wanted Z Gallerie's peacock placemats for forever and I almost bought those plates at Home Goods. I adore the feather trees. I have had red ones for years from Home Goods - we were just separated at birth!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Christmas!!
That is unbelievable - we are getting ready to set the table for Christmas Eve dinner - little inspiration here!!
ReplyDeleteEach of your tablescapes is more magnificent than the one before it. I don't know how you do it! This one is one of my favorites of all the ones you've done so far.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Oh Linda, this is exquisite! The feather trees are beautiful. I love the peacock plates, when I saw them at HG a long time ago I called a friend who has peacock pieces in her dining room and she rushed over to get them! Where did you get the aqua stems? Everything is just beautiful, as always! Wishing you a merry and blessed Christmas!!! XO
ReplyDeleteThese are such pretty colors for the holidays! Merry Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteOh those peacocks!!!! I looked everywhere, and still no white ones. But I am going to keep my eyes open during the year and if I see any, I am snatching them up!
ReplyDeletePrecious Linda, thank you for coming over to visit! Wishing you a most magical Christmas! Anita
You've outdone yourself Linda, with the beautiful peacock table setting. I love the dishes...and the colors! How festive. Enjoy your meal.

Love your table setting. The aqua color is beautiful. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this peacock table!! Your large feathered peacock is gorgeous, the chandelier amazing, and I just love your aqua chargers too! Do you happen to remember where the chargers are from? I have never seen anything quite like those. I too found these peacock dishes at Homegoods recently - can't wait to use them! - thanks for the inspirations! - Patty
ReplyDeleteHello Patty, thanks so much. This table is one of my favorites. The chargers I bought years ago from ZGallerie. They don't carry them any longer. in fact, they are closing their stores and are going to offer online shopping only. I would love to see your peacock table. I know it will be beautiful. happy Holidays. I did not see an email, just a comment from you. ZGallerie
