Carnival Party Time Tablescape

Since it's Mardi Gras, I thought I would share a tablescape in our Breakfast room. Love the bright colors of purple, gold and green.  It's time to be festive! The table is set with a purple tablecloth and purple chair covers.....(pillow cases).

I used  our extra large martini glass for the centerpiece.  I filled it with lots of beads that match the theme.  A golden crown sits in the middle topped of with purple led lights.

The centerpiece is surrounded by Mardi Gras masks.  Each place setting has a different mask, that sits on the plates.  Purple compotes sit on a layer of golden plates and a green charger.

Gold flatware with purple napkins tie in with the colors, along with golden goblets and green wine glasses.

I also used my fleur de lis napkin rings as an accent.

You can see the layers here.  Green, gold and purple.  This is definitely a fun table!

That's it for now.  Just finishing up the blog designs.  Enjoy the rest of your week!

  9. Good Evening Linda, Your table is a feast for the eyes. As the weather here in England is very grey and dreary it is lovely to see such vibrant colours.
    Have fun celebrating Mardi Gras.

  11. Oh, this is so festive, Linda! The girls love Mardi Gras and celebrate it every year. I love everything on here, the purple glasses, table cloth, the masks, and especially the crown. Do you know that PURPLE is my favorite color? It's so regal and pretty. You certainly know how to set a fine table, Linda. You did a great job.
