A lovely wine bar and restaurant that has great reviews.
They even have a cave room in the back.
Our taste buds are awaiting their wonderful creations.
And now on to more garden photos. It quit raining and the sun is shining.
You can see the wisteria is in full bloom. This is our back garden gate that leads to another space for outdoor dining. It's where we have our large copper round table.
It's raining wisteria....
The Lady Banks grow on the fence. St. John's Wort is growing on the hillside.Notice how the Lady Bank Roses are climbing the Plum tree. When it is finishing blooming, I will cut out the branches. It makes for a pretty color palette.
A pool shot I took this morning. I love the reflection of the palm tree.
I snapped a photo of our spa that overflows into the pool.
I hope you are having a good week. I am loving the Spring weather.

Happy Anniversary Linda. Sorry the surprise factor was ruined but what a beautiful place to go to eat. I'm jealous can I come swim?
ReplyDeleteThank you....yes, the surprise was ruined. My husband didn't say anything to the girl who called. Sure, come join me for a swim, when it gets warmer.....
DeleteHappy Anniversary, you crazy kids. The restaurant looks very elegant -- enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debra. We crazy kids will have fun.....ha ha.
DeleteHappy Anniversary, Linda! Great looking picture of the two of you! You didn't mention how long you've been married - I know it doesn't seem as long as the years say. Time goes by so quickly when you love each other. Have a great time on your "surprise outing!"
ReplyDeleteThank you Gail. It is 17 years today. Thanks for sharing that. I just added it to my blog post. Time does fly by. The main thing is we are enjoying life and each other.

ReplyDeleteJulie
Thanks Julie....we are looking forward to some good food. Our yard has been our pride and joy. I love having the pool, even though my husband doesn't care about it much.
DeleteHappy Anniversary to you both!! That looks like a wonderful place to dine at! Too bad the restaurant called but it will still be fantastic I'm sure! That wisteria is amazing. Around here it's a tricky plant to grow- some people have them for years before they'll bloom. Have a fantastic evening!! Hugs, Liz
ReplyDeleteThank you Liz. We have been to this restaurant before, so we know it is good. I wish you could grow wisteria. It's such a beautiful plant. Maybe try Passion Vine. Hugs
DeleteHappy Anniversary..to a lovely loving couple..
ReplyDeleteI love your palm trees Linda..to me that's a vacation!
And I love the adjustable bed idea..queen or king?
Inquiring minds want to know:)
I am taking Jacques out to lunch for his bday tomorrow..2 days early because Thursday and Friday are apparently big snow days...yes..did you read right?
Yes.
Thank you Monique. The adjustable bed is a split Cal King. We shall have separate bases and mattresses that go up and down and have a massage wave. Lots of research and a better price. Happy birthday to Jacques, even early. Hard to believe more snow is coming your way.
DeleteHappy Anniversary, Linda! I'm sure your dinner will be special, even if you do know about it! Your wisteria is amazing as are all of your gardens! Have a wonderful evening! ♥
ReplyDeleteThanks so much~ I'm hoping for a fantastic dinner and possibly a special dessert with my hubby.
DeleteHappy Anniversary! A new bed is something to celebrate! We stayed in a beach villa several years ago that had such a bed and I thought it was great. May think about that for the next bed....but I love our old southern 4 poster. Choices and decisions. Your gardens look wonderful. Your home is a retreat/resort! Sheila
