Mantel Re-arranging

I made this fall wreath from a pool noodle.  I covered it in burlap.
The fall cutout leaf is from the Dollar store.  I added a large bow and some fall leaves to finish it off.
I found this pretty sunflower wreath at Ross.  Sunflowers make everyone happy and I couldn't help but purchase it.  Lovely fall colors too.
For days now, I have been  playing with our mantel.  I keep changing it...LOL My husband must think I am going crazy, because everytime he walks into the family room, I have changed the mantel again.
I created this floral spray.  I also have  another vase that matches.  Sometimes I flank the fireplace with both.
I have two of these cute topiaries.  I  found them at Ross, our discount store in town.

Rosie is doing well.  It's the second week, we are caring for her.  You could say, we are spoiling her.
We bought  her a new fluffy bed.   We take her down to the pool, where she runs around and splashes in the beach entry of our pool.  Doesn't she look cute sleeping on her new bed?
An update on Boris.  He is recovering nicely at home.
My girlfriend sent an email with the latest. Love his nickname!
This is what we've been waiting to see! And, it happened a few minutes ago. BoBo is sleeping in his big bed in the living room. He also - without going into too much detail - rewarded us with his first "Roo!" (that is the singing he does) he gets his stitches out next week.  yea!

  3. Loving the wreaths! If you hadn't said the first one was a pool noodle, I'd have never known. LOL Thanks for the updates on the fur babies too. They both look so cuddly in their beds.

  4. I don't have a mantel to decorate. When we build here I'm praying we get one but in our little cottage on the farm it's missing. I'm going to enjoy yours.

  8. Both of your wreaths are so pretty, Linda. You're so clever with those pool noodles!! Your mantle looks beautiful, too. Isn't it funny how we are constantly tweaking our homes? Rosie looks so perfectly at home and how wondeful that Boris is rcovering so nicely.

  11. Your mantel looks so pretty. I love the arrangement you made on the hearth!

So sweet of you to care so well for the puppy that you are babysitting. What would we do without dogs? Life surely wouldn't be as sweet.

  12. Such kindness in everything you do, Linda...what a good friend you are!
The mantel decorations are lovely & you've inspired me to start bringing out my Fall stuff. I usually wait until after Labor Day to take down all my red/white/blue on the bakers rack but I am soooo really for some cooler weather, maybe seeing autumn colors will help.
    Stay well!!
