Hello and welcome to Thoughts Of Home Stunning Thanksgiving Vignettes.
I am so pleased to be included in this group of lovely bloggers.
Sit back and take in all of the wonderful inspiration from so many talented bloggers.
Thanksgiving is all about family, friends and traditions. Giving thanks for so many things. Good health is one of many.
Featuring shimmering champagne taffeta embellished with a rich metallic gold and chocolate brown embroidered filigree pattern. I love the rich look of this tablecloth.
The golden pumpkin is a Ross store find a few years back. My Mom also bought one. I tucked a white faux pumpkin inside with some lovely fall flowers and a few branches.
Gold flatware naturally goes with this table, along with gold chargers and pretty golden glass plates.
I decided to go with a two tone look for this table since the tablecloth has light brown, dark brown and gold. I am using brown and gold chargers. using the brown chargers, you can actually see the intricate pattern on the golden glass plates.
An overhead shot, the best I could get, because the chandelier is in the way.
Golden goblets complete the look, along with my tall golden candle holders. I popped in white pumpkins, instead of candles. Feel free to mix and match when designing your tables.
The gold branches I created by spray painting manzanita branches. A very rich look for a few dollars! I also added little fairy lights to the branches. You can find the tutorial here.

ReplyDeleteOh Linda your beautiful tablescape vignette completely took my breath away! I adore the Cinderella pumpkin centerpiece and your golden glass plates are simply stunning! Thank you so very much for joining the Thoughts of Home tour.
ReplyDeleteYour table is gorgeous! I love that tablecloth and the Cinderella carriage. The dishes are stunning - love all the gold! I like the manzanita arrangement you made in this location. It plays off the mirrored wall so nicely and with the pretty glass hurricanes accenting it- it becomes so festive!
ReplyDeleteOh Linda, the dark brown chargers with the gold plates, swoon! The tablecloth is gorgeous, but the way you've styled everything is fit for a king, or a princess with the pumpkin carriage! Your painted manzanita branch creation looks fabulous flanked with the beautiful hurricanes. You have really brought the wow factor to your space! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Dramatic and elegant tablescape! Your tablecloth is exquisite. Love your goblets, chargers, plates and gold silverware not to leave off the golden pumpkin centerpiece.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with the manzanita branch vignette. I don't think we have manzanita around here. Fun to learn new things. It really is pretty and fits perfectly on your chest.
True elegance!! The brown chargers definitely highlight the beauty of the glass plates...the tablecloth, manzanita branches, fairy lights, it is all beautiful! Feel better soon Linda :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, Linda! I love the golden glass dishes!!! You always set the most beautiful tables. Hope you are feeling a little better. XO
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Cinderella should be sitting at your gorgeous table, Linda! You certainly made a stunning tablescape for Thanksgiving. I love the intricate gold plates and it all looks so pretty with that beautiful centerpiece with tiny lights and your new tablecloth.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous. I love your linens and putting the pearls in the hurricanes with the candles is genius. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt is FANTASTIC, Linda. It is fanciful but beautiful. A table fit for a princess...or a queen....or ME! Love it, you outdid yourself on this one! xo Diana

This just glitters and sparkles! What a lovely table. That carriage is wonderful. I have two smaller ones, but I think mine to be glitterized a bit with some gold paint and sparkle. Your tablecloth is wonderful. I haven't seen that one yet, must be a new one! What a gorgeous table - I would love a seat there with you!
ReplyDeleteHello Linda! So much fun here; first of all, thank you for visiting my blog! And I have been having a difficult time visiting blogs in the morning due to my early schedule, but it's so fun to come to my quiet spot to see all of the inspiration! OK, I am mad about Cinderella carriages and THIS ONE, it is perfect! I have about 4 of them, and I can't seem to get enough. We don't have Ross out here, but I need to keep an eye out at Home Goods!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the blessings of good health, family, friends. Love!
I hope this comment is not duplicated ~ everything I wrote just disappeared! Anyway, everything looks so beautiful. I'd love to sit there and have a glass of champagne in one of the gold glasses with you ! :) Every detail is just perfect and the entire table is stunning!

P.S. I hope you're feeling better! I read an article today that indicated Apple Cider Vinegar helped with gallstones. It really is a good source to help/heal many health issues.
