Spring Rolls With Sausage
An easy spring roll made with ground pork sausage
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound New York Ground Pork Sausage
- 1 bag of Coleslaw Mix
- 1 package Egg Roll Wraps - 1 pound
- Oyster Sauce- two or three big shakes
- oil for frying
INSTRUCTIONS
- You start by frying the sausage in a skillet.....I use a large wooden spoon to break up the sausage into pieces. When cooked, drain and add your bag of coleslaw mix.
- Stir and cook until wilted and blended in. I add 2 or 3 big shakes of oyster sauce....Stir.... Taste. You can add to to suit your taste. Blend together and then take your egg roll wrap, add a heaping tablespoon of meat mixture and wrap like a diaper. Seal with a drop of water. Don't stack them on a plate. They will stick together.
- Pour some vegetable oil into a skillet, wok or any shallow pan.
Heat your skillet....medium temp. Fry or deep fry the spring rolls until golden brown on all side. Remove and drain. - Serve with Plum sauce or hot chili sauce. These are addicting and so easy to make.
