Adding to My Mackenzie Childs Collection

My husband loves the pitcher.  Great for dinner parties. The tiered stand is wonderful for treats and more.

It's been great fun adding to this collection.
When the bunny and chicks were on clearance, I grabbed them quickly.
Guess what we need?  LOL....A cute doggie treat jar.
My hubby bought our two dogs the Mackenzie Childs Courtly Check dog dishes earlier this year as a surprise.

A lovely vase for some pretty flowers and those cute ice cream pedestal bowls.

And I cannot forget the Butterfly plates I bought earlier on Clearance. My sweet hubby bought me the flatware.
Don't forget I have a giveaway going on!

My dad is hanging in there.  His color looked good today.  I am over there a lot.  I am always making soup for them.  I just arranged to have a tv mounted on their bedroom wall.  My two brothers went in on the deal. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts.

  8. Glad you dad looks to be improving a bit and that you are there to 'hands on' help them like you do.
You have such great MC pieces. How great that your hubby gets in on the collecting swing of things. That doesn't happen often with hubbies. You are lucky. xo Diana

  11. Linda you have a beautiful collection of Courtly Check pieces. And that fact that your hubby also enjoys it (mine does too) adds to it's fun style. We use the CC plates for every day meals, and the vase is always filled with flowers from the yard in the summer. Glad to hear that your dad is improving. xo

  15. Hi Linda, I am finally able to comment. So, I just came over straight to your blog, but I have to sign in to google to comment, so hope it goes through. It didn't take as long to load up, but still a bit. Oh, I love this pattern of dishes, so delightful. You know, I've always wanted a checkered tea pot. The plates and the pitcher and the tier are charming, and that bunny is darling. There's just something about black and white checkered. And it looks very nice on your cream table.

Enjoy the last days of summer.

    love, ~Sheri
