It's been very busy lately. Now, that Thanksgiving is behind us, it's time to concentrate on Christmas.
We had a quiet Thanksgiving dinner here with my Mom. My dad was too weak and tired to come over.
I spent all morning taking down my fall decor. I brought in 1 Christmas tree so far.
Let the decorating begin.....after I take a nap....LOL
Actually this morning, I woke up quite groggy. I have some nights I don't sleep well. It must be age related! haha.
After I managed to put away the fall decor, I suggested to my husband we go out to Pottery World and look around. They were having a Black Friday sale with 30% off.
We stopped at Nicholson Blown Glass first to see their cute snowmen. They make pumpkins during the fall season, plus beautiful wave bowls and more.
Most of you know I love Pottery World. It's a beautiful store to get inspired. When they have sales, then it makes it reasonable to buy.
Black Friday- I usually stay home on those hectic days. I hate the traffic and those long lines. I like to shop online.
They had a 30% 0ff sale. Remember earlier this year, I talked about wanting that patio extension table. Well, we bought it. It extends to 132". We consider it our Christmas present.
The extra leaves are stored right under the table. You slide open the table and pop up the leaves.
Have fun decorating!
I will be showing my Christmas tablescapes, plus my Christmas decor. December 1st is our group's The Traveling Tote Adventure plus a giveaway.
I am also participating in a Christmas Tablescape Blog Hop December 4th- December 8th

DeleteGood evening Linda, I adore your table and it is ingenious how the table extends. I am sorry to hear that there are nights when you don't sleep as well as you should. If its any comfort to you, I am the same. I have found a cup of valarien tea, an hour before I go to bed helps me to get a better nights sleep.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas time and I am looking forward to seeing your beautiful home decorated for Christmas.
With best wishes.
Daphne
