Hello everyone, I am pleased to be joining about 24 talented bloggers for a Thanksgiving Blog Hop. Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate is the very talented and organized hostess.
Thanks for visiting and have fun!
This table is full of bling. I am using the Woodland Spode Quail plates, since they really portray Thanksgiving. I thought I would change it up a bit with some bling.
The feather placemats warm up the wood table. Bling chargers tie in with the blingy accessories.
You can find these feather placemats at Walmart.
This pretty soup tureen, I brought back from our trip to New Jersey. I didn't realize it was American Atelier Athena at the time. I own the dinnerware, plus the tea set and another soup tureen. I carried it on the plane in my Mackenzie Childs' tote bag. I fell in love with it at a store at the NJ shore.
The mural area is our bar area, where our Jura Coffeemaker sits, along with a copper sink, ice maker, dishwasher drawer, warming drawer and a large subzero unit that holds both red and white wine and bottom refrigerator drawers.
Lots of special lighting was created with the tall hurricanes and bling pumpkins.
Love these pretty Woodland plates. I bought them on sale years ago from Macys. I hope this Thanksgiving tablescape blog hop has inspired you.

This is fabulous Linda! I love everything but especially the plaid pumpkins and feathered placemats. It's so sweet of you to tell us where items came from so we can attempt to find them. I've learned so much from you about creating special tables. Thank you for inviting us into your home to share the beauty! Blessings always, Sherry- Edie Marie's Attic
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous Linda, from the feathery placemats to the Woodland pheasants and blingy details. I'm swooning over that beautiful tureen that traveled back home in your tote. You girls had too much fun :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning table, love the bling!! The soft lighting reflects off those pumpkins giving the whole room a soft glow. The feather chargers are so unusual! You have created a gorgeous, inviting table to share a most special meal.
ReplyDeleteWow! LInda! Not only your table, but your whole room looks spectacular! Anyone sitting at this table would have to feel like royalty. I love the lush feel of the feathered placemats, Walmart?? Really?? Never would have guessed that!!! Love the plaid pumpkins! How you pulled all of these elements together with the bling is a true talent!
ReplyDeleteI would have hand carried that gorgeous tureen back home, too! Your table is so glamorous and fun. Love the placemats and woodland Spode dishes. You do bling the BEST! Love your setting in your room and your garden beyond.
ReplyDeleteLinda, It is just beautiful!!! I like the bling added in to the more rustic feel of the feathers. I LOVE that tureen, too! What a find. I would have fallen in love with it, too.
ReplyDeleteI think one of the best parts of the dining room is outside, too. That "courtyard view" is just amazing.
Have a fun weekend and a great day, Linda. AND make sure no one drips gravy on your pretty feathered placemats...lol....that means my grandkids and oldest son are NOT invited. lol xoDiana Oh---and the china is lovely, too!!!!
Beautifully done. Love the mix of textures and the bling. The new soup tureen is a beautiful piece!
ReplyDeleteWalmart? Really?!??!??!!? Wow! I'll have to check out Walmart today. Those feather placemats are super cool! I had no idea they have things like that! I usually just run in there for toiletries or yoga pants or something like that. I guess I've never really checked out their home decor department. Thanks for the tip! The bling is my thing! I love it!!! Really creative!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I had ever seen the coffee bar w/ the mural..suits your home so well!
ReplyDeleteThose palcemats were made for you..I would have never thought WM:)
Linda, I love how you've dressed this table. The mix of bling with the Spode delights the eye. Gorgeous pattern for Thanksgiving and those feather placemats are a great find! I'm sure your guests will love how special this table is. Have a wonderful weekend..........
ReplyDeleteWow Linda, this is so elegant! You have the perfect dining room and table for elegant settings, and this one is such a wonderful setting for Thanksgiving. The beautiful china and stemware look wonderful decked out with bling, and I am crazy over the feather place mats! Just beautiful!

Wow, Linda, you really know how to dress up what some might consider otherwise bland meal with a glamorous table! That turkey tureen is drop dead gorgeous (how in the world did you carry that on without breaking it is beyond me!), but those pheasant placemats are what I am swooning over. I tried to purchase those in late summer and I was too late. Hard to find and expensive otherwise, you found a great deal on them. They're large enough that they make a beautiful showing on your wood table and beneath the plate stack. I like the quail plates, too - a really nice alternative to the turkey ones. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Linda. I am drawn to your mural as it is painted on the plaque outside my courtyard announcing "Villa de la Luna"...yes, I name everything, my home is no exception. I also love your garden view. You put just the right amount of bling on your table....everything is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove the plaid pumpkin, love the bling, love the feather placemats!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I've ever visited your page and when I saw this post my jaw dropped open. It's stunning what you've done with your glam Thanksgiving table. I would love to sit there all day and chat with you. ;)
ReplyDeleteI really think you did an outstanding job on creating your Thanksgiving tablescape. Those feather placemats are really awesome! And I love your Woodland dishes by Spode. I'm thrilled to meet you, Linda. This is my first time joining up with all you fabulous bloggers for this blog hop. I feel so honored.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific tablescape! What's not to love when there is plaid combined with bling - two of my favs! I can't believe thos fabulous feather placemats are from Walmart - I was sure you'd say Pier 1 or Pottery Barn - they make such a statement at each place setting. Your crystal lamps and chandelier definitely add drama to your dining room which is perfect for a special occasion like Thanksgiving. Pinning for sure!
ReplyDeleteBling, plaid and feathers, I love them all. The lighting here is perfect and the view into your garden is so serene. Walmart better stock up because there's going to be a rush on those feathered place mats! I enjoyed blog hopping with you and looking forward to the next time.
ReplyDeleteLinda, what a stunning table, like something from Veranda and Victoria Magazine. The feathered chargers are magnificent, as are your Spode dishes. I would swoon with joy to be seated at this table. What a delight to play with you on this holiday tablescape.
