Moms Valentine Luncheon

My mom wanted to invite a few ladies over for a Valentine lunch.  I told her, I would be her personal chef. We decorated her table in red and pink. I came up with a soup and salad menu with a variety of desserts.
I made place cards for each lady.
The ladies had some fun with the ruby red candy lips.
Heart shaped breads adds to the theme. The menu included two soups.  Broccoli Cheddar and Butternut Squash soup. I also made a caesar salad with chicken. I usually make the dressing with olive oil, but I thought I would change it up.
I am using this fabulous recipe by Once Upon A Chef.

Dessert tray was candy lips, which the ladies had some fun with.
Oreo cookies covered in chocolate and decorated with hearts, cupcakes and cookies, which I decorated.  My Mom made the cupcakes and lemon bars.
Peach iced tea and coffee were served.
I believe all of the ladies thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I even served so my Mom could sit down and relax.

I am sharing at some of these parties.
