I set up dinner on the coffee table....I actually laid a square table
we had over our oval coffee table to create a larger setting.
All of the lovely Asian figures are from one of my favorite stores....Pottery World
Couple of the fans I bought online.
I bought the tea set in Chinatown
Look who joined us for dinner.............
I am linking up with Susan for Tablescape Thursday.
Thanks for stopping in and have a great weekend.

This is great! I'm so all about a theme, and I like yours. You carried it out to the fullest, too, by putting it on the coffee table.
ReplyDeleteI think your blue dishes are really pretty. I don't think I've ever seen an Asian set that color.
This was just a treat to see all the way around.
So glad I had a few minutes to visit tablescapes again tonight.
That is really cool Linda! You outdid yourself! I love all the details!
ReplyDeleteWOW-- you are so creative! Your table setting is so neat! I love all of your different ideas :) Thank you so much for sharing them with all of us!
ReplyDeletePS--your home is beautiful :)
I love those dishes!! The color is beautiful and what a great theme! You did a fabulous job, Linda!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
This looks like too much fun! You really did a great job! I love it and followed!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I TRIED to follow but something went wrong and it kept going back to the beginning. I'll try again tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHey there Linda, dinner party looks fun,(but I would have to eat with my fingers lol) not coordinated enough to use chop sticks. About the curtains, well I am about to head out to my "cheap" fabric store n see what else I can find. I am gonna do the tan(ish) or something in that family as all of you suggested, but don't know about the curtains I already have. In the market for some really big checks, I think. You know how it is, I will know it when I see it. I hope! Have a great week-end :) Teresa
ReplyDeleteI love the asian figures! How clever to put a table over a table- works perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThe color of your party is so enticing...I love it. You succeeded in establishing an Asian symmetry with your tabletop elements...very effective. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay

ReplyDeleteYou really created a beautiful table setting- the colors are so unique and nontraditional! The tall figurines are so cool, too. I am a chopstick novice- I drop more food than I get into my mouth. I would have to ask you for a fork! :-) Sue
