It's perfect for Valentine's, Easter and spring.
Feel free to click each photo for a larger view.
The pink flower plates look like a flower petal.
I found the green plates at Marshalls. They match perfectly.
How lucky I was to find The April Cornell napkins that also coordinate.
Aren't these adorable? Little salt and pepper shakers are sooooo cute!
I had these pretty pink champagne glasses. The green Fleur de Lis glasses I also found at home Goods.
Tea anyone? I love the frog sitting on top. I need to find the cups.
A matching platter....
Finally dessert. I made these mini cakes from a heart shaped cookie cutter. I baked a strawberry cake in a shallow pan and then froze it. I cut out 3 hearts for each cake. I piped in Strawberry frosting inbetween layers and piped a small heart on top. I filled it with Raspberry filling. To get the swirled color effects, I divided the batter up and added red food coloring to one bowl. I mixed in the darker color with the pink to get the swirled effect.
I found light and dark pink mini carnations at Safeway.
Here's a photo without the flatware. I used the Napolean Bee flatware from Horchow pictured below.
Well, I hope you have as much fun as I do when I look at these fun pretty whimsical dishes. I am hoping to find the tea cups or coffee cups.
