Oh, if you haven't seen my video of our group clogging at the fair recently, it's posted before the Skillet Corn Griddle Cakes.
Just something fun to watch.
It seems, I have been on a stacked food idea. I like the presentations. I think making your food pretty is another way to inspire the palette. There is nothing wrong with playing with your food. Ha Ha.
This is very easy....Just cut small rounds out of your seedless watermelon. I used a biscuit cutter.
Layer spinach leaves, different lettuce on your plate. A white plate really shows off the salad.
I layered two rounds of the watermelon on top of the leaves...centered. Add some crumbled feta cheese,
and red onion if you choose....Salt and pepper and decorate your salad with with Balsamic vinegar reduction or raspberry vinaigrette. Watermelon taste amazing with feta cheese.
Impress your guests and enjoy!

This looks so refreshing, Linda! I have never thought of putting watermelon and feta together and I think it would taste wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLinda, that is a pretty way to serve watermelon. I like all the ingredients except onions which you said are optional anyway. Raspberry vinaigrette sounds like a delicious dressing for the salad. ---------- Shannon
ReplyDeleteP.S. I wanted to ask if you would do a feature on Pet and Claws Day. I have a guest host tell stories about their pet(s) and show photos. I bet you have some cute things to tell about your cuties, Shasha, Chloe and Lacy. This feature is each Friday so let me know if you would like to be featured next week. More details on my blog.---------- Shannon
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I wish I liked to cook more, but it is a chore for me. Nothing fancy out of this kitchen. Sally
