Thanksgiving is the season for giving thanks. There are so many reasons to be thankful.
Nothing is more honorable than a grateful heart - Seneca
Thanksgiving Day is a jewel, to set in the hearts of honest men; but be careful that you do not take the day, and leave out the gratitude.

Live your life so that the fear of death can never enter your heart. When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the morning light. Give thanks for your life and strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. And if perchance you see no reason for giving thanks, rest assured the fault is in yourself.
Laura from Decor To Adore
Laura has graciously made these little elf ornaments to help raise money for Ceekay's dream.
Ceekay is a fellow blogger, who is fighting Ovarian cancer. Ceekay is currently in the hospital fighting a very bad reaction to her most recent chemo session. Purchasing a elf or two from Laura makes Ceekay's dream possible. I do understand this disease, because I, too suffered from ovarian cancer.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you all for visiting. I am so thankful for your friendship.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.
Blessings.....Stay warm!

Your beautiful house transitioned so elegantly from Halloween to Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see what it looks like for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThis is your house? Amazing, spotless, beautiful, so tastefully decorated! WOW! I'm very impressed. I kind of go for the comfortable WELL lived in look. haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following. I'm following back. :)
Thanks Linda for linking up! I hope you have many happy and warm conversations around your beautiful table and the Thanksgiving meal. We'll roast a turkey in the oven, but it's hard to create the Thanksgiving meal with us having summer (heating the house with an oven makes no sense in summer) and school exams. It's the end of the school year for my kids. They get a short summer break over the Christmas holiday and then in January start a new school year.

Hi Linda, Firstly I always love seeing your nest and your Thanksgiving decorations are beautiful-especially your pheasant plates! I was surprised that you had Ovarian cancer; my sister fought the battle for eight years and it was history-making/statistic breaking for her to have made it that long. I have felt especially close to Ceekay for this simple reason. I wonder how long you battled it? You are the first I've known that has made it through-great job girl! Have a wonderful weekend.
