I set up another romantic table in front of the fireplace. There something so romantic and soothing about sitting in front of the fire.
The family is not coming to dinner this year, so my husband and I are going out to dinner for Thanksgiving.
I will miss the the company, mess, and the yummy leftovers.
The gold rimmed champagne flutes are from Horchow.
Gold flatware is from Horchow. The gold rimmed dinner plates are from Macy's.
I bought the acorn plates at Ross. The gold candle holder is from Home Goods.
Have a joyful and Blessful Thanksgiving my friends.

Happy Thanksgiving Linda, From my nest to yours, may your joy be full. I used to think going out for Thanksgiving dinner didn't sound good but now I think it sounds better-no mess, no work etc.

Lovely table! Too bad you aren't going to be using it. But, dining out is easier.

Happy Thanksgiving! I know you had a wonderful day...what a lovely table. My hubby and I enjoyed cooking a big meal together and having a nice dinner. It was quiet but nice. Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteLovely tablescape, Linda. I have no leftovers, either, but came home to a nice clean kitchen! xo
ReplyDeleteVery pretty tablescape for twoo, it yells happy and romantic Thanksgiving. We were alone too, as my children are away and even my mom, as there's no Tksging here, but I do celebrate.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs,
FABBY
Your table is beautiful! Happy Thanksgiving :)
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you couldn't be with your kids this year. We went to our daughter and SIL's and there was a mess, a crowd but fun. One LOUD 2 year old:) Now, I adore your acorn plates they look very expensive! Paired with the gold rimmed plates and stemware it is all so beautiful. You are right, my header is AWFUL!!! I treid to fix it and ended up with this mess. Any suggestions? I don't know how to change the size of pictures and make them fit into a 4 panel screen. Hope you ha a nice romantic evening!!! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteSo strange...the comment I left earlier today has just evaporated!!!! :-( It should have been right after Marigene's, I think. I like your table for 2. Fireside is one of the best places for such tables! The romantic vibe is just so strong, and the linen color you used fits in perfectly!!! I have those same plates, and I love them! Wish I would have bought more! Gorgeous candle holder, too. I love all the bling on it. I hope your meal out was just as romantic as the table you set at home!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfectly romantic setting for just the two of you. I love the acorn plates from Ross. Thanksgiving blessings sent your way, Linda!
ReplyDeleteOh so very romantic. x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tablescape! I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteIt is not easy to share, with others, the loveliness as the one your family brings.
ReplyDeleteBut it speaks well of you and your generous heart that they feel free to be elsewhere.
I must say I love your cosy dinner... and I'm not refering to the gorgeous set up, wonderful pieces and amazing atmosphere pulled... it all looks so elegant that I'm sure your Lucky Husband isn't feeling deprived of family gatherings.
Because what matters - the love, the thankfulness, the warmth - remains and lasts.
Be Blessed,
Teresa
Your tablescape is just simply gorgeous, as always, Linda! Love Your centerpiece, china, stemware, napkins, And what a lovely theme and color scheme, too.
