Since it's been raining a little, I was inspired to create a tablescape with an umbrella.
I think this would make a great centerpiece for a Bridal shower, baby shower, wedding or?
I would definitely make the umbrella tall enough, so no one would get poked.
I draped a string of pearl beads inside the umbrella for some elegance. I started with a tall vase. Go to Ross and find some for very little money.
Fill it with potpourri. Ross also has this. I put the fresh flowers in a small container or plastic bag and added water. The umbrella was added, along with a piece of pvc pipe, to extend the height.
If I had more time, I would have extended the pipe to cover all of the umbrella wooden pole. You could then drape the pole in ribbon or strands of pearl beads. It would add some bling. Lots of options! I wanted to hang crystals from the umbrella to mimic raindrops, however I don't have any extras.
This bistro table is on our deck off the study.
I set the table with glasses from Pier 1.
My cabbage dishes are from Ross, along with the flower salad plate and bowl.
The napkins are April Cornell.
I also found out Marty, from A Stroll Thru Life featured my Cloche vignette this week.
Stay warm and cozy and enjoy the rest of your week.
I appreciate your visits and comment.
