California is really hurting for rain, so I hope we get more.
I decided to take a few pictures while we had a break.
The flowers are already starting to bloom. I noticed our Lady Bank Roses are starting to open.
They usually are in full bloom in April.
We have lots of Rosemary around here and it is so drought tolerant.
Our pondless waterfall off the family room still looks pretty. The path down to the spa on the right and Big Hill in the background.
I know some of you are still getting snow. Stay warm. Spring is coming!
If you missed some of my blog tutorials, they are listed on my right sidebar.
Oh, here are my two silly Great-Grandchildren below:

Love the sillies at the end! Your gardens are looking GREAT, Linda. We have another huge storm set to hit here this weekend. We will still have snow well into April with the snow banks we have built up over the winter. CRAZY! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so pretty Linda. My bushes are starting to bud but nothing as pretty as yours yet. You have such beautiful surroundings! The little ones are precious.
ReplyDeleteOh Linda, your pictures are so pretty! I can't wait until the flowers are blooming here in the Rockies :) Happy weekend to you, sweet lady! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers look great Linda! I'm missing color here in Northern Nevada. Can't wait until Old Man Winter goes away!
ReplyDeleteOh what a view from your garden...and of your garden! Love it!! I don't believe we'll be seeing any blooms any too soon. Tonite, lows are forecast of below zero and another snow storm coming through Saturday and Sunday...depending on where it tracks, we'll get anything from 3-9" of snow!! Ugh...winter's got to end...soon!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gardens. Our weather has been so crazy! 70 one, 40 the next. However, things are starting to sprout and bloom.
ReplyDeleteYOU HAVE GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN? How can that be? YOU are are so young-looking, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI am so relieved that you are getting rain. And that your flowers are blooming now is so bizarre! We on the other hand, are either going to have a very long winter or if spring comes early for us, we are going to have major flooding 'cause we have SO much snow...the most we've ever seen in 29 years!
Have a lovely day, beautiful! Anita
It's nice to see spring somewhere! I'm glad you are getting some much needed rain. Your flowers and plants all look beautiful! Love your waterfall area. The pic of the great grands is cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Anita - GREAT grandchildren? lol - that's a typo! You're looking gorgeous, Wonder Woman and so are your beautiful gardens. The kids look like they're having a ball!
ReplyDeleteI sent an email earlier - hope we can connect today, sweet friend. xoxo
I always love seeing your beautiful yard and surroundings, Linda. You can't be a great grandmother!!! You sure could be their mother!! xo
ReplyDeleteCute pic of your grands, and your plants look so pretty. I'm ready for Spring, even though we haven't had a terrible winter like those up north. I can't believe my old rosemary plant in a pot has made it through a 6 deg. temp. Hope the predicted storms over CA don't cause you any flooding.
ReplyDeleteYes, Spring is coming. Almost overnight the garden announces it - my almod tree passed from one stick with branches to an actual tree with leaves - green and lush leaves and some blooms :happy dance:. But your garden is several miles ahead than mine ahahah. So happy for you. I can't think of anyone else that deserves a Spring more...
ReplyDeleteI can't see the picture of your grands... I'm at work and sometimes it happens with some sites... but then you can't have grands anything so.... ahahahah
I'll still try to see it when I get home.
Enjoy your garden. Have a wonderful weekend,
Teresa
Oh you lucky girl! To be able to see flowers blooming...and anything green really. Enjoy it, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI won't voice envy for your early Spring because I know you guys are deep in the clutches of an awful drought. I just hope Mother Nature releases her grip on you soon. Yes, we are expecting another 4"-8" of snow this weekend here. Ugh! I just hope it holds off until late Saturday night...or misses us altogether! :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your blooms! Have a great weekend!
I would spent every minute outdoors if I had those blooms! The little ones are adorable. xo
ReplyDeleteYour yard is so beautiful! But then, I wouldn't expect anything less.
ReplyDeleteWe've been getting some much needed rain too. We had a fairly mild winter this year. Much prefer the rain over snow.
You are surrounded by such beauty! I can't wait for spring so I can get out in my yard again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos.
