Notice my new LOOK! I enjoy designing, so I created another look for my blog.
PARTY TIME
I wanted to create different stations for our Valentine's party. I thought a Mimosa bar would be special so people could create their own cocktails. Adding different fruits and juices lets everyone create their perfect cocktail. Always start with champagne, fill your glass half full, then add your choice of juices and fruit....Yummy. Peach Belini's, strawberry is a keeper.
MIMOSA BAR
Swing bottles I found at Home Goods.... I made the labels. Here's the template for them:
Blog World Label
They are free and there are lots of choices....
Now, on to the candy buffet
Chocolate candy lips made from a Wilton mold.
Here's some ladies having fun with the candy lips...
My husband took this picture, before the party started.
CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN
Another station. Chocolate fountain with desserts.
Look at the fingers on the left....perfect for Halloween!
We added pretzel sticks, marshmellows, Rice Krispie treats,
strawberries. Cheesecake, mini cupcakes and a 3 berry trifle.
I am in the kitchen making coconut shrimp.
THE FOOD BUFFET
Meatballs, mac and cheese, pulled pork sliders, cole slaw, coconut shrimp, crab cakes and Caprese salad on a stick.
We all had a great time! Needless to say, I had way too much food again. Enjoy your weekend. I am going to relax.....

ReplyDeletei Linda! Finally sitting down to catch up on blog posts. Your party looks like it was a hit and I love all the different stations! I have a seasonal candy station that is very popular;) As we proceed with an extensive renovation I'll be thinking about stations, and the flow while entertaining. The chocolate fountain is a must!! love that;)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! I love the new look. In fact, I love your setup so much I have to ask....Do you have a tutorial (or would you be willing to share) how you set up your blog to have a "box" for each post, with the picture at the left, and the beginning of the post text on the right? I'd love to do this with my blog but I've never been able to figure out how. I know you can insert a jump break, but it's just not the same. :/ Truly, I absolutely love how your blog appears from the home page. Just a teaser of each blog post. Genius!
