The field tile is 4x4's stone. I like to run a course straight and then add a liner and finish diagonally.
Our tile guys did the job for us this time. We had to wait to order some of the tile.
The two focal points are different. We fell in love with the look behind the range top.
The window wall is another look.
I must say, I should have gone with my gut feeling, by adding more glass tiles for the window wall. One of the tile personnel suggested using less and now I feel it looks like polka dots. We will live with the window wall for awhile, to see if it grows on us. If not, our tile guy said, we can install new tiles right over that, because there is room, because of the recessed niche.
