We recently bought new lamps for our bedroom. I have always wanted a large crystal chandelier in our Master bedroom, however we love having a ceiling fan. Those hot flashes are killer.....
The cabinet at the bottom of our bed is a pop up tv. I love watching HGTV shows in bed at night.
Since we didn't want to lose our ceiling fan, I did the next best thing...I bought two crystal lamps.

Another addition to our bedroom is a chaise lounge.
This is very comfy and I have found myself here a few times reading.
My aching back....I used to be able to work all day. This old age is for the birds....LOL
I will continue with the yard tour shortly.
I am also getting ready to host a luncheon for the Clogging ladies the first week of June.
It will be a tropical Pool party, down at the pool. My hubby will be the bartender.

ReplyDeleteThe new lamps are so pretty and add some nice glam! Your view outside is spectacular! One year my son and his friends made mimosas. The champagne I had on hand and the orange juice disappeared quickly! I know what you mean about the aching back- each year when I start working outdoors I'm reminded that I don't have my 30 yr old body anymore and can't quite do what I used to! That lounger would be my retreat for rest and relaxation!
ReplyDeleteThe new lamps add a special, sparkly touch, Linda. I always admire crystal chandeliers in bedrooms, too, but I couldn't do without my ceiling fan, either. I love the idea of a pop up TV at the foot of the bed! Champagne every Sunday evening with your hubby is a lovely tradition.

I just can't take my eyes off of it and how wonderful to have a balcony right off the bedroom. I think that would be one of my favorite spots to read... :)

Again, it just proves we are kindred spirits - I have those lounges in our club house for our condos that we built. I did the decorating of the club house and those lounges are everyone's favorite!

What a view down to the pool. I just have plants, a fountain and a hot tub. Not nearly as gorgeous!
Love the new lamps, they add such glitz. I love it! I am also loving the new chaise, I have been wanting two of those for my living room but haven't found the right ones yet. I could spend hours in that one lounging, enjoy it!
