CENTER YOUR POST & DATE TITLES
This is all done by adding CSS in Blogger's Template Designer. The template designing tool allows us to change font colors, font styles, sizes, etc.
Click Template * Click Customize * Click Advanced * Scroll down until you see Add CSS.
.post-title {
text-align:center;
}
.date-header {
text-align:center;
}
Take a look to see if your post titles and date are centered. Remember to ALWAYS back up your template before doing any editing. Adding these codes in here is much safer than editing your html.
All of the following codes are added the same way.
Template > Customize > Advanced >Add CSS>

Great news, Linda!!! I'm so glad for you! Also glad to hear that Chloe is feeling better. :) Thanks for another good tutorial, Linda -- yours are always really helpful. I hope you have a great weekend!

Linda, thank you so much for this. HTML is not a language I am familiar with and sometimes I wonder how I can do my blog (LOL!), but Blogger does make it easy enough for me. I registered with and tried Wordpress and found it so difficult. I only registered out of curiosity, because some former Blogger users switched to Wordpress, but I found it complicated so didn't bother with it. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat news and thanks for the tips. Greetings and happy new month!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Linda, I am so pleased to hear that your biopsy was normal, that is the most wonderful news. I have done my own happy dance for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the bloggy information, you have been so helpful to me. As I am not very techy, I have learnt as I have gone along. I am so pleased that now I know how to centre my header..... that is the next thing I will be doing.
Have a wonderful day today.
Best Wishes to you.
Daphne
Good morning Linda!
ReplyDeleteAbout four years ago, I had a blog designer do this for me and I loved the results. She also changed the code so my photos would be larger than they used to appear, so that's great. But I want to make sure I can refer to this wonderful post to play around with another blog I use only for testing purposes.....YOU ARE AWESOME! You are really good with this technical stuff, and I've received so much help from a few great blogger friends. And I hope you are well today. Keep us posted on everything, OK? Love, Anita

Hi Linda, I'm in and out with some getaways but wanted to stop by and thank you for your comment and edits I needed to make on my domain in blogger. I took care of that and appreciate you telling me this.

So sweet of you to provide us with a tutorial-but I will never ever use one, because I am terrified of HTML and also because I have YOU! You have made my blog so very pretty and I am so happy with it all!

I probably should have paid more attention to HTML but my son took care of all that. LOL Now I have you! Glad your biopsy results were good. xo
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the happy dance too, my friend - GREAT news! This is a great tutorial and will be so helpful to your readers.
ReplyDeleteI see you got mail chimp sorted. Did that tutorial help? Should I attempt it again? I've been avoiding it like the plague, lol.
Talk soon, WW. xoxo
Linda, Jess does most of the design work on our blog, and that's why we don't change the Header except once a year because we have to come up with a Header that we all agree and like. Thanks for the tips. Blogging can be complicated sometimes, but through the years, we learn so much more about it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying this month of August.
love, ~Sheri
Glad you do it for me!! Makes my head spin just to read it!
ReplyDeleteAfter reading your post I realize even more what a kindergartener blogger I am!
ReplyDeleteCool thanks for all the great tips. I'll have to try it one day
