Nature's Essential's dinnerware lines the Baker's rack with my Bordallo Pinheiro.
I brought out my pumpkin soup tureen and mini pumpkin soup bowls.
It's the end of summer and it is finally cooling off. I love it when we get the Delta breezes.
I made these two floral arrangements that sit on each side of the fireplace. The mantel is decked out with those fabulous candles I showed in my last post, along with two tall amber glass vases. I put two lamp shades on top them. There is room to add a led candle. Something new this year is the two rust colored mercury glass pumpkins. Home Goods strikes again!
Closeup of the tall amber vase with the lamp shade and the mercury pumpkin.
Our family room, where we spend time every evening. You can see the dining room with the stone wall. I am so glad we traded in our oval coffee table for this round comfy ottoman. I love to put up my feet. I am also getting ready for a visit from my Mom and her friend. I am serving lunch, so look for another tablespace coming up.
Sharing one of my favorite tablescapes.
Ok, I am off to a new dance class. Country Western line dancing and Irish dancing. Take care.

ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteMy you are looking very Fallish.........looks very pretty. Love your fireplace, so pretty
and beautiful arrangements on both sides. So you are taking Irish dance now too, huh,
bet that will be fun.
I decorated my guest bath, and did a few things like move some furniture and pictures around to get ready to do my living, family and dining room for Fall, but might wait till after my daughters visit next weekend to do the rest, as I don't want to have the house all torn up when she comes,. My house is quite funny right now. I have a coastal master bedroom, a sort of late summer spring look in the guest bedroom,
fall in the guest bath and spring/summer in the rest of the house........I have been
doing a lot of change ups lately....lol
I see Sept. does the same thing to you it does to me, gotta get those decorations out. lol
Take care hon,
Blessings, Nellie
Absolutely beautiful! You have such talent ~ the flower arrangements are gorgeous! Wish you were closer. I hope you enjoy the dance class as well as your Mom and friend.

Morning, Wonder Woman !
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so lovely and welcoming. I love the flower arrangements you've done. I am completely talentless when it comes to doing that sort of thing so I'm always in awe when someone does them so beautifully!, lol
One day I'm ready for Fall (usually when I see a delicious lasagna or some comfort food) and the next day I'm still clinging to summer. It's extremely hot this weekend (and humid!) That always makes for an interesting time with the hair, lol.
Love the new pumpkin as well! Can't wait to see your new tablescape.
Dance class sounds fun and great exercise, too! Enjoy, friend. xoxo
Linda,
ReplyDeleteLOVE your Bordallo Pinheiro plates on the hutch, dear friend!!!
Your mercury silver pumpkins are spectacular atop the mantle!!!
Gorgeous floral arrangement on the hearth, too!!!
I hadn't thought of mixing my Bordallo with my orange pumpkins,
but this tablescape is stunning, indeed!!!
Thank you for sharing and inspiring!!!
Happy Labor Day!!!
Fondly,
Pat
