I have been busy getting ready for a craft fair. My Mom signed up for one and then asked me to join her. I will be setting up the table. I decided to make some candy trains, so I would have something to bring. My Mom and I have been making them for years.I made these all my myself this time......LOL
We would get a production line going....occasionally popping a piece of candy in our mouth.
One of us does the train tracks, so they set up and the other gets the candy organized.
It reminds me of "I Love Lucy", when she and Ethel worked at a candy company.
My husband Paul came into the kitchen the other night when I was making the candy trains.
He started singing, I've been working on the railroad.....He is so clever, always thinking of songs that match the project.
The candy trains are ready to go. All packed for the big day.
My Mom is making Deco Mesh wreaths...the pouf ones. She made different colors.
I wanted to try making a tube wreath. I started with a Dollar tree wreath form. For those of you who make wreaths, buy them at the Dollar store. This wreath kept growing bigger and bigger.
My next project hot cocoa mix in a mason jar, layed with marshmellows, peppermints and chocolate chips. I made the cute labels and attached a peppermint spoon. I made some chocolate spoons last week. I found the peppermint spoons on Amazon, although they are also at some other stores, such as oriental Trading and more.
Here's some cocoa labels I created. You should be able to print them out on cardstock.
Here's a preview. Just click the label to print them in a pdf format.
Have a wonderful weekend. I am off to relax. I already have my jammies on and I am looking forward to a nice glass of wine. The craft fair is tomorrow, so I need to get up early.
