Once again, I have been making over blogs. I have been busy, so I haven't had the time to write a new post on this blog. Sonya from Domestic and Geeky recently contacted me about giving her blog a makeover. She has been following Jacqueline from Purple Chocolat Home and loves her blog.
Sonya was a little nervous and told me she was picky. I find that a challenge. I remember when Ron from Uptown Acorn wanted a makeover and also told me he was picky. Ron told me, I nailed his design. In fact, he is so happy, he keeps me busy creating new headers for seasonal look.
Anyway, back to Sonya, we emailed back and forth and she told me her design style. When all said and done, she is totally in love with her new look. I love happy clients! I also love it when they want to recommend me for blog makeovers.
We went with hot pinks and black and some bling. Sonya told me, she is a girly girl and loves to clean and organize her house.
I designed custom social media buttons with appliances. Custom header, custom signature,
Her sidebar is blinged out with the hot pink crown and designer navigation buttons. I also added a pretty divider between her posts.
I set up her custom domain name. She used namesilo for her domain. We completely changed her blog name from Simple Living at Home.blogspot to Domesticandgeeky.com
I created post summary for her blog as well. It is highly recommended for readers. They can see many posts on the home page and they just click the read more button. Such a pleasure to work with.
Another blogger, Liz from InfuseWithLiz a good friend wanted a new background. Something with a tartan look. We both worked to find something pretty. Liz sent me a design, so I tweaked it. I resized it to make the pattern smaller and I also rotated it. From there, we decided to change up the header for Christmas. She found a pretty wreath graphic and I added it to her header, along with the bells. I also changed out her sidebar divider. Love the fresh Christmas look!
Liz and I have been friends for quite some time, back from the Rate My Space time.
Ron from Uptown Acorn, as I said earlier, keeps me busy tweaking his blog header.
Ron wanted a plaid look also, but not frilly. Plaid is so popular this year. If you visit Ron's blog, you will see a collage I made. I made similar ones for Halloween and Thanksgiving. His house looks fabulous all decked out for the holidays.
Pinky from Designs By Pinky also requested a Christmas header. Pinky sent me 4 photos to use for the header. I came up with the new design. A very pretty Christmas look for the holidays. She has the cutest Santas. She is decking out her new home and loves sharing different parts of her home.
Well, that's it for now. I have started my Christmas decorating. I am slow getting started this year.
Our thanksgiving was quiet . Just my hubby and myself and lots of leftovers.
I am very thankful for so much! Happy decorating. If you want a blog makeover, feel free to contact me. Below are some of my former Christmas tablescapes.
