Where does the time go? The old saying about times flies when we are having fun or the older we get, the faster time goes by. Goodness!
I have been a busy little bee cooking and baking. The first Christmas dinner party is Wednesday night. I made the dessert and finished making caramels.
I decided to show you another traditional Christmas tablescape in the Breakfast room.
Tartan chargers set the mood with red and green. The salad plates are also tartan with my green cabbage plates. Red flatware from Horchow.
I used my new green cake stand as a pedestal for the snowman centerpiece.
Plenty of candlelight lights up this room. I keep the white lights on my ficus trees year round.
A fun cut-out effect from PicMonkey.
Our family room fireplace, all decked out with greenery and lights.
Stay tuned for the white and gold tablescape in the dining room. We bought a flocked tree this year.

Linda, I love the photo of you with your sweet pup on the couch. The tartan is so inviting for Christmas. I'll stop by before Christmas to see your flocked tree. xo
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon Linda, It is always a pleasure to visit you, because you create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteI adore your candle holders which look like frosted icing... a tinge of pink at the bottom, graduating to white.... they are fabulous.
When I lived in Cyprus, we could not buy Christmas trees, so I used to put fairy lights and baubles on my fiscus tree.... there is nothing like a bit of sparkle to bring a smile to my face.
Have a wonderful Christmas Linda and warmest wishes to you and your family for the New Year.
Daphne
