Starting on the side of our house, this is our study patio. We enjoy this deck constantly, because our study opens to this paradise with french doors. The fountain is a nice sound when we are both using our computers.
Sharing a few pictures of our study deck. The wisteria blooms beautifully.
This balcony is off the guest bedroom. My husband is in the process of screening this balcony in. He and my son added the roof last year.
From the patio, there is a path that leads to the pavilion and the garden.
A screened pavilion my husband built.
A garden bench sits next to the keystone block wall my also husband built. He is quite handy. The koi pond is to the left.
The other side of the koi pond are two reclining chairs.
You can see the trellis where the copper table is.
Patio dining on the copper table. We love having dinner parties out here. A perfect place to relax and eat outdoors.
The copper table was a fabulous purchase! There was quite the story of how we got it home.
Buffet for entertaining.
Actually our pool is in the front of our house.
This is the front of the house. Looking upwards, you can see our master bedroom balcony.
A garden bench by our front door.
An outdoor kitchen island that seats 6 people.
Our purchase from two years ago. At that time, we had 4 dogs, so we needed a larger place for all of us to sit. Unfortunately Lacy and Sasha have passed away. They had a fantastic life and lived to be 14 & 15. Now, we have Chloe and Dante....Mother and son toy Schnauzers.
Another garden bench, surrounded by passion vine. It produces a very unique flower.
I always sculpt it to keep a pretty shape.
And lastly a hippo bench that sits by the spa. We always lay our towels there when we soak in the spa. Ok, I think I covered our many places to sit. I am off to do some yard work and then hopefully take a dip in the pool. Enjoy your week!

ReplyDeleteSeriously, you've both done such a lovely job in bringing this property to life. It's mesmerizing, my friend. Lots of love to you xoox
WOW WOW WOW. You have a paradise and a palace, Linda! And your white dog especially, her toes make me laugh. Now they're resting in paradise as you make your own here. GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteWow and Wow!!! You have so many lovely and unique places to dine and relax.
ReplyDeleteTo say your husband is handy is an understatement!
That sunset beyond the table setting was beautiful. Your friends must love to be invited to your home wherever you chose to be.
I had no idea you had schnauzers too. They are my favorite. We have 7 in our family. Don't think I'm crazy but I love them. One is my dad's but I claim her too. We are schnauzer crazy here. Your sitting areas are so stunning. Very inspirational. We have lots of sitting areas on the farm too but we have raw land mostly and so much work to do. This is inspiring and makes me want to work harder and faster.
ReplyDeleteThe outside of your home is so stunning, Linda. You have so many places to relax and enjoy beautiful views. You and your hubby, as I've said before, make a great pair. You can tell that you love your home!
ReplyDeleteOh, MY!!!

Each as lovely as the next! I think I will sit under the wisteria and gaze at the lavender...such joy here.
ReplyDeleteIncredible Linda-I think your home looks like a mansion verses an estate. Whatever you call it, I call it beautiful-just like you.
ReplyDeleteHave a great afternoon.
Hugs, Noreen
Linda, your outdoor spaces are so lush and inviting! The landscaping is amazing! I can tell that a lot of love went into the design of all the spaces. I am sure that you have enjoyed some wonderful times there! It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe next seat is sweeter than the last! I imagine that you have hosted many happy events here over the years. Truly glorious!
ReplyDeleteAh, California living at it's best! Even though we have very mild weather year round in the South, the summers are humid and buggy and pollen and mold are a problem in the spring. All your outdoor spaces are like rooms, I love your fire pit area, the entertaining area by the pool and the private balcony spaces, dreamy!
ReplyDeleteJenna
Linda! Oh my gosh, just gorgeous - every.single.one! It would be hard to choose a favorite, but I may have to choose that newest sectional you bought a couple years ago. Who wouldn't want to a guest at your home?! It exudes not only California living but first-class resort style too!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for hosting DIDI. It's one of my favorite ways to start the blog week on Sundays.
Rita
Oh my goodness you have an oasis. Your home would be like a retreat. A different spot to relax every day and they're beautiful. And to think you manage it by yourself for the most part is amazing. I'm a slacker.
