With Thanksgiving around the corner, it's time to set a pretty table. I am using some fabulous bright, cheerful colors for this table. Using fresh flowers is always a nice addition to any table. A beautiful arrangement really sets off your table.
This is not your traditional Thanksgiving tablescape. Why not experiment with different colors?
My inspiration comes from this fabulous floral arrangement filled with Asiactic lilies, purple liatris, blue iris, and orange germinis. A rainbow of colors to brighten any table. I love mixing color combinations together, you wouldn't think go well.
I started with a purple tablecloth. Pumpkin place mats from the dollar store. Who says you cannot set a beautiful table out of accessories from the dollar store. The plates with leaves are also a dollar store find, along with the leaf goblets.
Purple compotes hold a mini pumpkin. The burlap favor bags from Michaels sit on a leaf plate. A perfect treat for your guests. I made some Caramel party mix. I also like making caramel corn.
I am using purple and orange chargers to compliment the theme. Purple goblets match the tablecloth and chargers. I am also using two napkins, purple and orange to give the goblets a pop of color. It's all about color for this table. There is no rules written we have to use the traditional colors.
The star of the table, a beautiful bouquet.
You can tell why I named this Carnival of Colors.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

ReplyDeleteLINDA! Wow, what a gorgeous combination of colors. I am not a color person, keeping my colors reserved only as a pop of color against mostly white and light gray, but you really are good at putting the right colors together. LOVELY! And have a wonderful gathering around your beautiful table for Thanksgiving!
