Cicis Corner Blog Makeover

Hello friends, I want to share Lea's new look for her blog, Cici's Corner.  She is a sweet Southern Belle with wonderful style.  A pleasure to work with.  We chatted on the phone first about what she likes and then we went to email, exchanging some work and designing aspects.

Lea also wanted a Fleur de lis background and also tie in some sweet birds. I got a kick out of her sweet Southern accent.  Lea knew what she wanted.  A pretty design with the color choices she gave me.  Her love of Southern Hospitality and charm shines through.  I added a pineapple to her header banner for the Hospitality aspect.

I explained to Lea about about using labels.  She had never used them, so I explained why they are so important.  She had  about 4 pages for her navigation on her prior blog look. Here's a tutorial I wrote about labels
I told her, I could create some additional tabs for her most popular posts.  She writes Lea's Favorites every Friday.  Lovely products she has tried and tested and wants to share with her readers.
She also write Monday Musings.  I set out creating these new tabs and I associated the tabs with her labels.  See, how important those labels are.  Remember  to use about 3 or 4.
I also gave her a Sitemap, which is like a Table of Contents.  Every post is listed on this page.  it makes it very easy when searching for a particular post.
