We have no big plans. Relaxing time down at the pool most likely.
Also treating my mom to a barbecue.
I am gearing up for my mom's back surgery which takes place on July 6th.
How about some jello shots? Cool and refreshing.
The pool cabana is coming along....slowly.....It's amazing how some contractors never return your call. I know it is a busy time for building. Hurry and wait!
I also want to apologize for the latest blog update. It seems I accidentally sent out my test newsletter. Too much on my mind lately. It had a Christmas banner, silly me.
I am busy tweaking blog, designing new blogs and assisting with support.

ReplyDeleteI wish your cabana was done in time for the 4th....let's hope it is done BEFORE Labor Day. Independent contractors are just that -- independent. Sometimes you get great ones and sometimes you get ones that work when/as/if they want to do so.

Those cupcakes look so good! We will be having a cookout later. I woke up this morning with pink eye. How patriotic is that? The doc gave me some eye gel and im feeling better. Think Ill have one of those jello shots!

ReplyDeleteLinda, your day sounds perfect! Our 4th was rainy, so a quiet afternoon at home listing to the rain was perfect. We need the rain, and with it came some cooler air! Thinking of your mom this week. Prayers that all goes well.
ReplyDeleteThe pool sounds wonderful! it was super hot here yesterday! We went to Stadium of Fire which featured One Republic, an Air Force flyover with the new B35's, night time parachuters and a huge fireworks show! It was wonderful once we got into the shade. I didn't know four US Presidents died on July 4th. That is quite coincidental isn't it. Hope you had a wonderful day.
