Tropical Flamingo Dining

This tablescape is set up in our beach entry.  A great place to keep our toes wet and enjoy a nice meal. Years ago, we had a tropical party where 4 of our guests decided to set up their table in the water.  A Very cool idea!

I have extra tables, so I decided to spray paint the table and chairs in a bright hot pink.  We have several of these aqua blue umbrellas and they go perfect with the flamingo plates, so I am using one in the beach entry for shade.

Flamingo plates with matching napkins.  The bamboo flatware gives the table setting a tropical look.  Palm leaves are scattered about for the centerpiece.

A tiki guy holds a pretty pink bromeliad.  I tucked in a pink flamingo.
Gotta have some flamingo sunglasses!
Our cute little rubber ducky is always floating along.

Two flamingos hold the two platters.  I am serving crab cakes, shrimp cocktail and grilled chicken kabobs with a tropical cocktail.

Salt and pepper flamingos add  some whimsy.

Cute flamingo pillows from Michaels.

  10. Oh my gosh, how cool is that?!! Literally and figuratively, Linda, this is definitely the answer to all the heat everyone is dealing with in alfresco dining. Even the most hesitant guest would want to go there, given that dinner menu you're serving. The pink flamingos are ruling this roost - so cute in all the ways you have them serving up the scene! Very unique and creative!
