Hello friends, since Halloween is past, it's time to focus on Thanksgiving. I'm happy to be sharing this Thanksgiving table with you today. I love using our large dining room to set a pretty table for family and friends.
My inspiration comes from my lovely glitzy pheasants and my beloved Spode dishware. Using these special items is perfect for Thanksgiving. The pheasant were quite a find on sale at Tuesday Morning.
I've teamed up with my friend Kristi from French Creek Farmhouse as well as some other amazing bloggers to bring you a bunch of inspiring Thanksgiving tables this week. Each day this week, Kristi will feature 5 talented bloggers on her blog and her Instagram who have created some wonderful tablescapes with the Thanksgiving theme. I hope you get inspired!
The rich brown and gold palette definitely seems like Fall to me. Autumn colors are so beautiful and vivid, what's not to love. Since pheasants are the star of this table, I am using my lovely pheasant feather placemats. They make my dish stack pop! Fresh neutral florals sit graciously on top of my Chris Madden Serving platter. The pheasants perch nicely with the florals.
Here's a good look at most of my table. The copper chargers add a rich element to the table. Since our dining room is pretty formal, I tend to decorate my tables
with elegance. I also like to showcase the beautiful wood on the table sometimes. The runner was a bargain at our local Ross store.
Do you ever use fairy lights? I love using them. They create a nice ambiance with soft lighting. They are also inexpensive. Notice the pretty glow they give off.

Our dining room is plenty large enough to entertain at least 14 people.
Did you notice the bird napkin ring? I found those at Zgallerie years ago.
I have used these over and over for numerous bird themed tablescapes. I am using this pretty bronze flatware I recently bought from Horchow. I waited a long time before I finally gave in to purchase it, naturally on sale. I have already used it numerous times already.
Gotta love cheetah print. The lovely goblets and glasses tie in beautifully with my theme. I have always loved animal prints. My husband picked out the water glasses at Pier1.
These cute little bronze pumpkin place card holders are from my friend, Liz who blogs at Home and Gardening With Liz. She graciously sent them to me to use on my tables. I created the leaf place cards on the pc.
How about dessert? These baked Stuffed apples are so yummy. The recipe can be found on Harvest Luncheon for Two
Lovely transferware. Spode has so many different animal designs. Transferware is a classic.
The pheasants I found at Tuesday morning. How can you resist such a cute pair?
They go perfectly with the brown runner with gold.
Be sure to click over to the tour pages to see all of the lovely tablescapes.
Each day is full of inspiration and are marked Tour day 1-5.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I so appreciate your thoughts.
DeleteSo stunning Linda, I love the pheasant and quail theme, and your patterned glasses are beautiful! I've been glued to the news all afternoon, watching the fires once again...Paradise is burned to the ground, I am so heartbroken for those people, praying Chico stays safe...when I was in college there we used to go to Paradise all the time, it was such a beautiful town nested in the mountains. I pray that you are safe in Auburn...
