Dancing Tulips Tablescape

I set up this pretty pink and green tablescape in our Breakfast room. I wanted something cheerful, since we have had some rainy weather. Tulips are so fresh and pretty.  Love the colors!

I am using two different shades of pink.

I found this pretty tulip tablecloth at our local Ross store. I played with the plate stack.  I wanted to use the  green from the tablecloth, so my cabbage dishes work well. Pink chargers from Michaels tie in beautifully.

I added a long pintuck tablecloth under the tulip cloth.
Pink pillow cases hide my red chairs.  A pretty in pink tablescape/

Green flatware fits in perfectly.

Tulips are so graceful.  They are displayed in my fishbowl vase.

I wanted to share a tip from Monique, whose blog was recently focused on tulips.
I found a trick..take them out of the water and and snip the ends at an angle again..like you did when you brought them home..wrap in newspaper snuggly straight...stems and all lying on your table or counter.. and leave out for a couple of hours..put them back in your vase that you have put fresh water in..and watch them dance again..and again..I have done it twice..they are still beautiful.

Hence the name, Dancing Tulips.  Thank you Monique.
I shall be sharing at some of these link parties.

  3. Such a bright and cheerful table Linda. Your tulips are so pretty and the pink and green plates just made me gasp at how lovely they are. The tulip topper and your flatware and pink glassware are perfect for this. Great tip for the tulips!

  8. We share an affinity for dancing tulips. I'm eager to let them start two-stepping down my table again this year. I noticed an amazing selection at Whole Foods just last week. I love the new colors for chargers now available at Hobby Lobby. Your pink ones are charming...yet another trip to make. I haven't used the Bordallo plates in some time. Your table inspires me, yet again. I pray that all is going as smoothly as possible in your world. Thanks for inviting us for a peek. Cherry Kay

  18. Obviously, on the off chance that somebody is simply completing a dance or taking a brief break, slowing down after a few dances, sitting or sitting out a tune they may propose the following dance.dancewear Madison Ave
