Free Fun Video Maker- FlexClip

I have used video software for years.  I was heavily involved with Windows Moviemaker years ago.  I created custom effects for it too.
I created a video with the surprise snowfall we experienced recently.

I am always on the look out for fun and easy to use software. Creating a video online  with FlexClip is quite easy and safe....NO downloads.

Pearl Mountain recently launched FlexClip, an easy way to create professional videos online.  You can create your video with still photos, text , music and your very own logo from your blog

Your video tells a story, whether you are using photos or video clips.  No video expertise is needed.  you can even record your own voice.

To use FlexClip, create an account. Click Create New.

I clicked the + storyboard to add the photos from my computer.  You can see all of them lined up.  You can also drag each photo to where you want it.

You will see a video icon, a photo icon and a microphone icon. I clicked the video icon to add a video clip.  It is a falling snow video clip in mp4 format I have on my computer.

I am using it for my opener for this video.  My theme is all about snow.
If you don't want to add a video clip, then just add photos from your computer, by clicking the photo icon or the+storyboard.

You can add text or not.  Choose one of their Text examples and edit the text by clicking it. You can change the font, color and also re-size the text. If you selected a text with title and subtitle, you can always remove the subtitle and click OK.

I added my logo.  Click Logo and then choose the style you like. I chose the first one.  You will see this box that says Your Logo. Click the box and find the file from your computer. You can then move it to where you want it and also resize it.

You can also add your watermark or logo by clicking Setting and then uploading your logo or watermark. You can add it to the top left, top right, lower left or lower right. You can also change the size and opacity.
Add music by clicking the Music heading.  Just find the music file on your computer.

You can loop it, mute it and even trim the music.  To trim it, click the scissors.

You will see a screen like this.  Just drag the line from left to right.
Notice the red line?  You can always click the cancel to go back to the project
Now, I have my snow Intro, my photos, my logo and music.  you can click preview to see how it looks.  Next, click export video.  Save it to your computer.
You can easily upload it to Youtube and then get the embed code to add to your blog post on the html side, not compose. Open your video on Youtube, click share, then click the embed code.
An  FREE Video Maker-  FlexClip is very easy to use. It is also great to create your Intros for YouTube.

Here is the video I created.

* This review  and tutorial is my own opinion. I love trying new software that  makes life easier.
A Spring time tablescape blog hop is scheduled for the week of March 4th.
I hope the weather is giving you a much needed break.
I am sharing at some of these link parties.

  3. Very cool, Linda. I love the music you chose. The snow in CA almost looks like underwater scenery in some frames.
I used to play with Movie Maker too, but it's been at least 7 or 8 yrs. I may try this sometime. Thank you for sharing and giving the tutorial!
