Welcome to another Spring Tablescape blog hop. We all love setting a pretty table family and friends. Many thanks to Chloe from Decorate and Celebrate for setting up these wonderful tablescape blog hops.
Since spring is arriving, I thought bees would be a fun table. Our daffodils are blooming. I cut some of our daffodils for the small cabbage mugs. We are getting lots of rain this year, which we need badly. Let's hope we have no wild fires this year.
I am showing off my new bee plates from Anthropologie. The green is quite lovely. They go well with my bee yellow dinner plates. Notice the little bee napkin ring? The Napoleon bee flatware is $99.99 now at Costco.
My sweet little bee. She is a new purchase. I love her sweet face.

ReplyDeleteNow to your beautiful bee tablescape...I love all the bee elements and I wish I could have found such a bargain when I bought my Napoleon bee flatware several years ago. The bee plates are perfect and your daffodils offer fresh garden flowers to your cups, bringing the outside in. The little bee brought a smile immediately, as I agree with you, her face is so darned cute. The beehive cakes would make me want to pull up a chair and enjoy your pretty table. I think you should purchase the cake pan soon. What a great addition the cakes would be for your table. As I have said before, if someone does not find inspiration at these blog hop tables, then they aren't looking. :)
Hi Linda, sweet friend,
ReplyDeletethis Bee-Table is so lovely!
Have a happy rest of the week,
Lots of Love, Claudia xo
Your table is bee-utiful Linda! I’m crazy for anything *bee* related and have admired those Anthro plates! Love them framed with the yellow plates and leaf placemats. Your cabbage mugs of daffodils are such a cheery addition and I love your little Queen bee. Hope your mom is improving and feeling better! As always it’s a treat to have a virtual seat at your table and blog hop with you. ♥
ReplyDeleteI love the buzz your table has created in all its bee forms, Linda! The plates, the flatware, your napkin rings, the sweet doll....all are so well mixed in the yellows and greens, colors I love. You pulled together a great table, especially given all you've got going on. Let's hope the rains in CA are an omen for a rich and fruitful season to come.

ReplyDeleteI've already seen bees in my garden with full little pollen sacs. I think that is the term. Will have to look that up.
I love the little small daffodil arrangements in the cabbage cups. They look great with the cabbage bowl of sunflowers. Your table is clever and so cheerful and fun.
Hope your mother is feeling much better.

Your beautiful bee Spring tablescape really reminds me how sweet and essential the bee is in nature. All of their hard work and production of honey which we are blessed with and enjoy with our tea. Your table is gorgeous with the combination of sunflowers, cabbage ware and green leaf placemats. The bee salad plates and bee napkins rings are perfect detailing. I love the whimsy of the darling little bee with the adorable face. She is watching over her flower and conveying to all of us how her role in nature provides so much joy.
ReplyDeleteLinda, I love every bee-utiful detail--the flatware, the plates, and that darling cake! Happy to be joining you for the tablescape hop this week! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
ReplyDeleteSo happy you were able to join us once again and I hope your mom is on the mend. Ms. Bee is too cute and looks right at home in the center of the table. The leaf place mats and the cabbage bowl/vessel are perfect additions to your table.
ReplyDeleteBee-u-tiful Linda, and so many cute bee things! Love the bright yellows and your new bee plates have a lovely vintage feel to them. The sunflowers look great with all your bee pretties. I am so sorry about your mom, I hope she's feeling better now, I know you had a scare...so glad it worked out that you could still hop with us!

Linda, I'm sure it's no surprise to hear I'm all abuzz over your table! First, we share the same fab bee flatware and plates. And, I have the beehive cake pan and used it to create A HapBEE Birthday Cake and Table for hubby last May. It's bulky to store, but makes a wonderful, dimensional cake. I use a Meyer lemon mix.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun your table is, Linda! I love that you are celebrating bees with all of the concern we have here in the US for our declining bee populations. I just got done reading an extensive report on it, although I am not ready to start hosting a hive in my backyard, I will be planting bee-friendly flowers. All of your details are so perfect, the flatware and the bee plates are fantastic! I am so happy that you have had daffodils blooming, I just had to buy some up here in Ohio, no blooms us here yet! Thank you for joining another hop and sharing your tablestyling talents!
ReplyDeleteAnother creative and fun table! You do so much with your mix and match way of pulling things together. I LOVE that bee cake (shaped like a hive). What fun that is. I hope you have a really great night, Linda. As always- praying for you and your mom. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteLinda, your new Anthropologie bee plates look fabulous atop your yellow bee dinner plates. I love how you used your cabbage bowl and mugs for the floral arrangements. The little bee girl has a very sweet face indeed! You should definitely get that bee hive cake pan...you would definitely use it often with your bee plates and flatware! It's a pleasure hopping with you. Happy Spring!
