The fabulous Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate has once again called upon some 20 bloggers to share their Welcome to Summer table inspiration. The sun is out, so I thought I would set an alfresco table. I am so ready for summer.
Our weather has been lovely. My husband and myself have been working long hours in our yard. Hubby is working on the pavers for our pool cabana. I am trimming over grown plants for a fresh summer look. I am happy to say I am almost finished. Time to relax in the spa.
I set this alfresco table on our copper round table off the Breakfast room. This sitting area makes for a lovely dinner or lunch. Using a round table, it gives your guests a chance to really see each other and allow the conversations to flow.. This table does accommodate 8 people.
I am going lemon....lol Green leaves placemats , followed by Citrus Lemon cork placemats. I then added my bee plates, cabbage plates and finally the Mary Lake-Thompson Botanical plates.
The yellow roses are in full bloom, perfect for this yellow tablescape.
The lovely lemon dish I found at Home Goods. It is made in Italy.
I dressed the dish with roses, lemons, green leaves and some floral branches.
This is called Giotto- hand made and hand decorated with fruits and flowers.
The Botanical plates are each different. Lemons, sun flowers, olives and rosemary.
Summer is all about fun in the sun! Warm weather, pool time and so much more.
