Seashells, Starfish and Mermaids.

More tropical dining under the Palapa.  We held another dinner party Sunday night with friends.  I have been trying to get this one couple over for dinner.  They finally made it.  They are always on the go.

Using my Kohls beachy plates with seashells and starfish.  They are so fun, especially with the little starfish side plates.

A perfect opportunity to use my starfish salad bowl I bought years ago from Pier1.
Of course I had to have the matching pitcher.

Notice our new aqua outdoor rug?  I am loving this pretty color.  I have two umbrellas in the same aqua.  The mermaid matches perfectly.  We love our palapa.  It really makes it seem like more tropical.  They are quite popular in Mexico.

Dante made it into the photo.

We hope to entertain more guests soon, while the weather is nice.
Fall is around the corner. September, we are having our pool re-surfaced with a pretty  Catalina pebble tec.  I hope to finally get the pool light I have been wanting for almost 20 years. We have fiber optics lighting for now and no large pool light.
Below is more tropical dining

Enjoy the rest of your summer.

  5. I feel like I’m right at the beach with your pretty themed table! You have the prettiest dishes and accessories to make everything so special. The palapa really does makes your pool area look like a resort. I wish I could see it all in person, but with you sharing, it’s the next best thing!

  16. Gorgeous, Linda. I was wondering what your overhead covering was called and you answered! It's been so long since we've been in Mexico, this feels just like a waterfront spot. Your outdoor dining area is a dream! thanks so much for linking up for the party!
