Welcome to my Day of the dead table.
The Day of the Dead (Spanish: DÃa de Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican heritage elsewhere
I am using this colorful purple tablecloth with the skulls chargers. I found them at Michaels. Dollar Tree black plates sit on top with the added sugar skulls salad plates.
I draped some black gauzy fabric on the chandy to make it a little creepy.
The sweet little sugar skull candle sit nicely on a bed of purple sand enclosed in a mini cloche.
Purple goblets go with the color theme. I also alternated the flatware with purple and black.

I enjoyed you festive tablescape. We have a large hispanic community here in central Texas, so this is a holiday often celebrated here. Many homes and often the Mexican restaurants set up altars. It's a beautiful tradition.
