Love Your Creativity Link Party #16

Love Your Creativity." The place where you can share your latest blog posts . You could be featured next week! Share your home decor ideas, garden projects, crafts, recipes, frugal living tips, lifestyle posts and more. The party starts at 12:00  Pacific time.

This week has been a trying week.  Our power was turned off again.  They turned it back on Thursday night and it is off again. I guess this is the new normal for Northern California, for those using PG&E.  Needless to say we need to really look into getting a generator to run part of the house.  Living out in the country, we are on a well, so no power, no water.  Makes it tough.
This past week, I shared National Make A Dog's Day. There are so many dogs in the shelters, providing a forever home is so important.  Man's best friend. I shared photos of our Toy Schnauzers Chloe and Dante. Hug your pets.
I also shared our Pub Table all decked out with Mackenzie Childs

On to the party!

  1. I’m sorry you’ve had such a time with your power, Linda. That’s so frustrating! Your Chloe and Dante are so cute, and your pub table looks spectacular. I just got home from California, and we enjoyed our visit. Thank you for hosting!

  3. Happy Sunday Linda. The power issues out for you in California are pretty hard. Glad the fires are not hear you. Thanks for hosting your party I always love the inspiration here.

  4. Glad you're not any where near the fires, Linda and I'm sure it sucks to be without power. We had to get a generator to keep our sump pump going when we lived in our old home. The power would go out all the time during storms and flooding was a possibility. I'm all for a generator - it saved us so many times!

  5. I can certainly sympathize, Linda. We too need a generator here in the NE for those outages if we want water. Hope it's short lived. Thanks for hosting. This week I've shared a simple tutorial on how to make tea or kitchen towels for yourself or as gifts. Have a wonderful week!

  6. I know Linda, on the top of that wind is blowing high today which is causing havoc. Already so many trees has fallen in our area.

  7. It is terrible to be without power Linda, hoping the wind dies down so things can get back to normal. The fires are so scary, I hope you are nowhere near that!
Thank you for the feature and thanks so much for hosting. Stay safe.........

  9. I hope that living without power is the worst that it gets for you. So many have already been affected. I'm doubly grateful that you were able to host this week. Happy Halloween!

  10. Linda, we all feel for you guys and the power situation concerning fires. It really is such a scary thing. Take care of yourselves and by all means get that generator. We have a big ice event every few years and lose power because of downed power lines. Not fun, but not near as dangerous. thanks for taking the time to host the party!

  11. Thanks for the party, Linda. I hope they turn your power back on soon. My sister in law lives in Sonoma and is without power. She does have a small generator though. My son lives in Lafayette, in the east bay and his neighborhood was evacuated for several hours today. Scary times. I hope you have a better week ahead.

  13. How frustrating to have your power on and off like that. It’s amazing how fast those fires spread. Praying that you’ll never be affected. Great features!

  14. That is tough; we also have no water without electricity and I am always amazed at all the stuff I can not do when our power goes out.

  15. Hi Linda. Just a short note before bed. I am so tired of this, we just got back on this afternoon and now they are shutting us down sometime tonight. We did have a fire though on the outskirts of downtown. We have our motorhome stored across the street. It burned a few acres before they got it controlled. I does seem worthwhile when you hear that but it is trying..Thanks for the party and hope you keep the lights on. Auburn was on yesterday at least around Target..Take care..Judy
