My Moms Christmas Decor

Some of you know I recently visited my Mom in Southern California.  I flew down to visit and decorate her house for Christmas.  She is thrilled with the look!  It is her favorite holiday.

Her mantel was very thin, so off to Lowes we went to buy a wider board.  I was then able to add her snow critters with the flocked garland and fairy lights.

The nutcrackers she bought last year, a little after I bought mine.
They are so beautiful.  In fact, I think they are still offering them from QVC this year.

I flocked her green Christmas tree with Sno flock from Amazon.  It works quite well.  She wanted a blue, silver and white theme.  I then decorated her Christmas tree.  I also flocked her garland for the fireplace.

I love her blingy chandelier.  it is beautiful especially with the medallion.

When she bought this house there was a wall separating the kitchen from the Living room.  She had them remove the wall and add an island.  A lovely new look and definitely more open.
She also had them install a bay window where the slider was.  A lovely place to add the two white Christmas trees, angel and the polar bears.  I added fairy lights and batting to look like snow. The fairy lights are on remote.
These adorable snowman and snow woman I gave to my mom.  They sing together and are also animated.
Her Christmas village she has collected over the years.
I created this little video of the Christmas decor.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

    16. Linda you are amazing! What a wonderful gift! Not only do you come and decorate - but you flock trees!!! That is quite a chore! I love the nutcrackers. I have some smaller ones that moved to the mantle this year, and that angel mannequin is so pretty! I saw one of those last year. It looks lovely in her window! Most would just go and set up their mother's tree, but you did the entire house - wow! Lucky mom! Hope my kids will do that for me some day!!!!

    18. LInda, I'd seen some photos you shared of the decor, but have enjoyed a more complete look and dialog of what you did to decorate your mom's home. I know it was a labor of love and that she greatly appreciaes that you flew in to do this for her. No small job! It all looks like a winter wonderland.
