Christmas Tea and More

I set a table for a Christmas tea.  I have to show you the lovely surprise from Monique - latabledenana.  She sent me this beautiful tea cosy with the black and white check and of course red roses.  What a surprise to receive this lovely tea cosy. It is perfect.

Some of you know I worked on Monique's blog after all of her blog photos disappeared.  I was happy to help.  Monique was ready to quit and I could not let that happen.  I did not want any compensation as I love helping people. I worked for days and then showed Monique how to retrieve some of her photos.
We are all relieved she continues to blog.  Thank you Monique.  You are a doll!
Look at this darling painting she did of me.  Such talent! I so appreciate the thought she put into this...a lovely treasure.

So my inspiration for this post is the sweet tea cosy.  It takes center stage and goes beautifully with my Mackenzie Childs.

I shared this darling snowman I made out of large marshmallows and pretzel sticks on Instagram and Facebook today.

Over the weekend my Granddaughter Michaela and her two kids, Lilly and Logan visited.  Yes, I am a Great Grandma. They are so cute.  Papa Paul kept the kids entertained with virtual reality and of course Alexa. Lots of snapchat too.
Lilly loves the camera...LOL

Logan is 5 years old and full of energy.
Even Nana and Papa Paul got into the action.....

Merry Christmas!

  1. What a wonderful surprise to get that tea cozy and picture she made for you. It's perfect. Your table is just lovely-as always.

Hard to believe you are a great grandmother-you don't look it and I know you don't feel old...nor do I. Your family is beautiful. We should be having some great-grands in the not too distant future, I think.

I hope you have a wonderful, blessed Christmas, Linda. Thank you for all you do for all of us during the year! xo Diana

  4. Linda, I'm forever grateful that you helped Monique restore much of her blog. Like so many of us around the globe, I've followed Monique's beautiful blog for many years. I count Monique as a dear, dear friend! She is amazingly talented, generous, and gracious. I've been on the receiving end of her generosity as well, and absolutely treasure the paintings she as sent my way. The tea cozy is adorable and perfect for you and the MKC. Cheers to Monique!!!
PS ~ I still can't imagine you as a great grandmother!!!

  15. Understand that most things that seem to good to be true usually are. if someone is offering you the chance to become a millionaire overnight, do not allow this to separate you from your money. The reality is that they will become rich from taking advantage of people like you.
