Black and gold table with lots of bling! We hosted a Golden Globe dinner party for neighbors.
Black and gold table with lots of bling!
The projector light is pretty cool. It is a lamp and it actually works. My girlfriend gave this to me when we had an event at her church. My hubby added a led light. I surrounded the projector with red roses on a gold tray.
Golden goblets were perfect for this table. At each end of the table were gold balloons and black balloons. I added candlelight for ambiance.
I created the golden Comedy and Tragedy masks out of glitter stock from Michaels. I found a pattern online.
The dollar store was the perfect place to find the star dishes. I sprayed them black. Red sparkles finish the look along with a led light.
Golden dinner and salad plates with a red napkin tied like a bow tie,
A fun night with neighbors. The menu was Chicken spinach lasagna with white sauce, Vodka pasta sauce with Penne and Italian sausage, salad, bread and apple crisp for dessert. They were also treated with dark chocolate Lindt truffles.

Wow, now THAT'S how to do a Golden Globes party! My Rare One and I just sat on the couch watching the show with cheezies and pop. "So low rent," I know!

What a great idea for a party, Linda. The table is so glitzy and elegant and the ceremony itself was fun, I thought.
