Happy Friday

Hello friends, It feels like spring is in the air.  The weather is warm and refreshing.  They are predicting 70.  I have been doing some gardening and my back is telling me to back off.    My husband is working on the pavers down by the pool, extending them to the other side of the pool house. I told him I thought it would look better and tie in with our existing patio. He also has to build the outdoor shower enclosure.

I am gearing up for a nice summer.  With the pool cabana finished and our pool renovated, I am a happy camper. I can swim at night with some beautiful lighting. Before our pool had fiber optic lighting which was not bright. There was no pool light, which has bothered me for 18 years.  My husband said the nag is finally gone!
Here's the crew working on our pool. It took awhile to refinish, but it is so worth it.

Look how beautiful the pool looks.  I am so happy with how it turned out. We have the new led lights that change color plus two large LED lights.  We can turn everything on with our tablet, etc.  We can also change colors.

Another project idea I have is to raise the palapa roof. Since the pool cabana is close, I feel the palapa covers the the top of the cabana and you cannot see the beauty.  It has been bugging me for over a year.  Another nag!  LOL
I never run out of ideas.....LOL Happy weekend everyone!  I am getting ready for Mardi Gras.  I shall be sharing a pretty and festive tablescape.   March 1st, The Tales of The Traveling Tote will be sharing all our latest adventures.

Plus the first week of March there is a Spring Tablescape Blog Hop.

  10. Your pool, cabana and surrounding area looks like you are on a tropical island. I was amused at your statement about never running out of ideas! You are a wiz! I just wish I had half your energy.
I love your palapa roof. New name for me. Would that be a huge project?
It is going to be 28 at our house tonight. The flowers are all confused. It has been hot and cold back and forth.
