Time for a tablescape Blog Hop. Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate has once again organized a Spring Tablescape Blog Hop for you to enjoy. She has changed it up abit, so all of the tablescape posts are on one page. You will find all of the participating links at the bottom of this post. If you are visiting from Zucchine Sisters, I bid you a sweet welcome. Thank you Chloe for organizing this fun spring event. Enjoy!
Who doesn't love brunch? I set a citrus themed brunch in our Breakfast room. I couldn't resist the beautiful tulips they had at our grocery store. I think next week, we shall make a trip to the Farmer's Market in town.
We have two lemon trees, so there was no shortage of fresh lemons. I surrounded the grapefruit with lemon leaves. The plates are Athena from American Atelier.
Hello March and Welcome Spring. We have been fortunate enough to enjoy temps in the 70's. Gardening projects to catch up on. Hubby is working on extending the patio down by the pool.
Lots of oranges, lemons and grapefruit serve as a lovely layer around the vase filled with tulips. The champagne flutes are Waterford. Our friends gifted us a set every Christmas. Hubby and I enjoy champagne every Sunday.
Cabbage leaves placemats I bought from Pier 1 years ago. I tucked lemon leaves around each place. Below are the American Atelier Athena dishes.

You're lucky to have had such nice temperatures. It seems like it does nothing but rain here, for months on end. We might get two or three clear days a week, if we're lucky.
I hope you're doing well, Linda, and hope you have a great week!
Hugs,
Denise

You have such a flair for setting a lovely table! I would love to be sitting there among the citrus and tulips, chatting away with you! I am ready for spring and tulips always get me in the mood!
ReplyDeleteLinda, this tablescape epitomizes both CA and FL to a T! All that fruit, and those punchy colors - it makes me want to sip on a nice cool beverage and enjoy it all. The tulips match the fruit so well. It's so funny, when I see these colors mixed together - the oranges, pinks, greens, and yellows - it reminds me of when I was a kid in the 60s. I had an outfit I wore in my 5th grade picture, hot pink and green. This table takes me back and yet stays so current with its bright colors. I love it. And your chair covers (pillow cases again?) are also so fun. Love your champagne flutes too.
ReplyDeleteLinda, I adore your citrus tablescape! It creates such a pretty vibe of freshness and abundance. If I had the citrus trees you have, I'd be decorating with them, too. Unfortunately, our Meyer lemon has not come back after a hard freeze a few years ago. Those tulips in your centerpiece are so stunning, and you arranged them perfectly. Everything is so well coordinated. Happy Spring to you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheery, citrus delight? With fruit and champagne, mimosas would definitely be on tap. It feels very retro and since the 70's were my favorite era this makes me smile. Good luck with the projects and Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous table bursting with color! How could you not be happy sitting there?!! I love how you layered your plates with the green - and the grapefruit looks so refreshing! Great hopping with you!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Shelley
Hi Linda! I noticed Shelley used the phrase "bursting with color" in her comment--that is just what I was going to say! I love the colors and pairing of citrus and florals! Happy to be hopping with you! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is....Happy, Happy, Happy...., Linda, when I see your gorgeous citrus and fruit tablescape. I absolutely "drank in" your lovely colorful tablescape. The tulips are stunning and the surrounding fruit has me thinking of my desire to be stranded on a tropical island with warm breezes and delicious fresh fruit and seafood. Spring in the tropics....yes, of course! Love all of it! It is now a very happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteLinda, your tulips are stunning. You could be in Holland. Love how you used the citrus colors with the tulips. They go beautifully together.
ReplyDeleteIt's just gorgeous, Linda, and I can almost smell the fresh clean scent of the citrus! Beautifully done, as always. Love the lemon topiaries in the background, too.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your 70s. We are spitting snow here this morning--ugh...welcome to Wisconsin! xo Diana
