I am 31% Irish/Scottish/Wales. I am celebrating with a table of green cabbage and shamrocks. Cabbage leave placemats fit nicely under the cabbage plates. I added green flatware, green goblets and of course green napkins with shamrocks.
This happy Leprechaun is doing an irish jig. The dollar store is a good resource for the hats, shamrock placemats, etc. With my chairs being red, I like to use pillow cases and then dress them up with chair sashes, bow, flowers. Many of my readers know I usually dress my chairs.
I bought these adorable little ramekins with dome lids from QVC.
I am wishing you all a happy St Patrick's Day. I shall be cooking corned beef and cabbage with the usual fixings. We recently got a Ninja Foodi, so I have been experimenting.
I know it is crazy out there right now. I have never seen anything like this. I hope you all remain safe. We are staying in as much as possible. Paul has been going out to get anything we may need. Stay safe!

Linda, this is so festive. I just told my chef that he needs to make corned beef and cabbage tomorrow. Your little leprechan is so cute. I seem to have misplaced the few St. Patrick's things I have. Not sure if I gave things away when I was purging or put them somewhere I don't recall. Guess I should have stopped at Dollar Store. 😂 I do have my green dishes and a few things I picked up at Hobby Lobby. Perhaps I'll set a table tomorrow. Or not! 😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteI love the cabbage placemats and dishes -- what a great idea for St Pat's!
ReplyDeleteAll of this is so cute! I love St. Patricks Day decor. I just haven’t been in the mood to decorate for it this year. Tomorrow we will be eating cornbeef brisket and cabbage.

ReplyDeleteHi Linda. Your St. Pattys table is just darling. I have irish in my blood too and I didn't even think to wish everyone a happy day in my post yesterday. This really is a crazy time and I find it hard to keep up. I'm going to try and talk my kids out of coming up here after hearing about the younger people have problems too which at first wasn't thought of and they are supposed to be sheltering in place in Santa Cruz..Stay well my friend..xxoJudy
