Since Easter will soon be upon us, I created some Easter decor in the kitchen. The black and white bunny is new this year. The tall hat bunny is a Mark Roberts creation.
I am using my tall black tiered stand. I added some yellow easter grass and then added little chicks, bunnies, eggs and some plates.
A lovely woman named Kim Martens Taylor on Facebook painted the bunny for me. I had purchased the bunny with the white board on Amazon and then had it shipped to her to paint. Here's a close up of the bunny Kim Martens Taylor painted for me. She did a fantastic job. I told her I wanted the jacket gold.
The before bunny and of course after the painting.
Here's a photo of our kitchen stove and surrounding cabinets.
Double ovens are on the opposite wall. My tea pot is covered in the pretty tea cozy from Monique. Such a treasure. This kitchen has lots of storage.
Our kitchen window. I love this window because I can crank it open, and there is no center bar divider to block the scenery. I also love the chandelier.
The Mark Roberts bunny is actually a vase. So very cute and fun!
These bunnies look fabulous with my Mackenzie Childs. I don't know about you, but I have been cooking more and baking. I recently made Angel Biscuits by Trisha. They were light and fluffy. They are made with yeast.
The soup I made is Olive Garden Chicken Gnocchi Soup
Speaking of yeast, we could do find any in the stores. Many people online are price gouging, which is so greedy. I finally found some today online.
I also made some beer bread. I used Paul's last beer to make the bread. He said it was well worth it.
I hope in these challenging times, you remain safe. Home Sweet Home is the best place to be.
Here's a few more Easter Tablescapes to enjoy.

That menu bunny is super handsome! Our kitchen is the place to be right now, so it's only fitting that it's all tricked out. Beautiful, Linda! Isn't it funny (odd) the things that are scarce in the stores? Happy Easter to you & Paul. Wish me luck. I'm heading to Kroger's today for a HUGE pickup.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rita, love how the bunny turned out. Yes, we are all in the kitchen. it is so strange about certain things being out of stock. It is like people are going back to the basics, baking bread, etc. Remain safe Rita when venturing out.
DeleteYour kitchen looks fabulous and happy, all decked out for Easter. I have been trying not to bake, because if I bake, I eat it! Who would have thought yeast would become a commodity!! Wonder if this will start a resurgence of people cooking better meals at home?! Have a nice Easter.
