My hubby's birthday is today. A birthday to remember in quarantine.
Mini Upside Down Pineapple Cakes using jumbo muffin pans.
How about Baked Alaska that looks like a pineapple?
I bought two of these cute pineapple urn fillers from Grandin Road.
Pineapple silicone Baking molds used to make cake bread, but also used to make chocolate, candy, soap, ice cubes, mousse, pudding and jelly.
Today is my Paul's birthday. I bought him a Ooni Koda 16 Gas-Powered Outdoor Pizza Oven since he loves bread, pizza, pretzels, etc. It has great reviews and is portable. You can order it gas powered, which uses propane. I think a nice addition for down by the pool. We also love the Hawaiian pizza with pineapple.
Shrimp with pineapple? Yummy on the grill.
I have these darling pineapple glasses, complete with gold straws.
When we go to Kauai, Paul's favorite cocktail is a Mai Tai. Cheers honey!
Here's the Mai Tai recipe.
How about a pretty pineapple and pink table. I will showing more of this later.

Thanks Linda for featuring me in your post. Oddly, the first picture, I'm wearing the same shirt today.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your sweet and wonderful hubby Paul. You two are the best couple and it is so fun to see how you will celebrate your love for Paul and make his birthday special. Those upside down pineapple cakes are so yummy looking. That outdoor pizza oven is fabulous and will be so nice for down by the pool. Happy Birthday Paul, Happy Thursday. Have a great week.

Happy Birthday to your Paul! And hmmm, I detect a pineapple theme! Both those desserts look delicious. However, Paul can have my mai tai too, because I'm not a big rum fancier. I discovered that in Hawaii at a luau once.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Paul :O)
ReplyDeleteLinda, my sweet friend, it looks like a wonderful Birthday-time!
Hope you are well, wishing you and Paul a wonderful weekend!
Lots of Love, Claudia xo

ReplyDeleteA belated happy birthday to Paul! I hope he's had a chance to break in his new pizza oven. That looks like a very clever and useful gift for the renovated pool area! All those pineapple flairs you've pictured (and purchased?) look adorable, and so suited for your backyard oasis. Looking forward to seeing the details on the table, Linda. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to your Paul. Great pizza grill and love the pineapple glasses.
ReplyDeleteWe use a pizza stone on our grill.
I celebrated a birthday during Quarantine and missed my dad for his birthday too. He's 85 and it bothers me more than it would if it weren't for his age. I have never not seen him for his birthday.
Enjoy your outdoor space!

Happy Birthday to your wonderful hubby! I saw the pizza oven at Williams-Sonoma and thought about getting it for Joe for his 60th in January. I saw great reviews, and would love to know how Paul likes it. Have a wonderful holiday weekend with your family.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Paul! Perfect weather for celebrating with a Mai Tai! Love all the fun the pineapple things you've found Linda!
